Small Dogs?

Question

What is a small dog that doesn't bark much.

I have a German Shepherd here, she barks alot.

God, I SAID A DOG THAT DOESN'T BARK MUCH! THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE THAT SAID ACTUAL BREEDS, LIKE BASENJIS, SHIH TZUS OR WHATEVER!

I have a shih tsu, and she only barks when she is playing. and she is a calm, sweet tempered thing.
I also have a Pomeranian, who does nothing but bark, at the wind even. Good Luck

Basenji's don't bark, but that doesn't mean they don't make loud noises. It's kind of a whining noise. Barking mostly depends on the personality of the individual dog. Your best bet is a cat.

I have a Shih Tzu. It hardly ever barks. Very sweet temperment. As a matter of fact I'm looking for another one I like it so much. m

You never know. All dogs can bark, whether they do or not, and how much, depends on the particular dog's personality, and on what sets him or her off. Believe it or not, I had a beagle who almost never made a noise, she'd just give one soft bark to let us know she wanted to come inside - Beagles are known to be really noisy dogs, they bark, howl, and cry a lot, in general.

how small? most small dogs tend to bark alot but their bark isnt very loud. i recommend a maltese. thy dont bark alot and their sooooo sweet but thy need to be brushed every day or their fur would get clotted.
