Individuals in a friendship relationship will seek out each other's company and exhibit mutually helping behavior. By sleeping with your 'friend''s mate, you automatically have decided (perhaps not consciously) the friendship to be of no value and consequence to you and hence have no longer a right to call that person your friend.

No I don't find ruining a good friendship worth sleeping with someone that is in a relationship with someone else, espcially my friend. I would never want to hurt any of my friends. And if this other person is with someone else then its not like they like you the most or anything. Why waste your time, ruin friendships, and ruin your reputation?

Yes. About 4.5 years ago i was dating a guy and he took me to a New years eve party. I ended up going home with his friend and having a one night stand. The friend is now my boyfriend of 4.5 years and our anniverssary is new years eve. The funny thing is the three of us have always remained friends
