It could take a long time because stretch marks come from the growth of your body and it is happening at a pace that your body can not keep up with so it produces the stretch marks the best thing would be to use a medicated stretch mark cream and see if that helps any.

You know Adam, I once heard that stretch marks were from an increase in hormones.....you can buy some creams at the pharmacy and see if that helps you, like some fading cream...Usually they take a while to go away..if that don't work,...I would get some tatoos lol ...anyway, I know you are self conciencious about them, but look on google, and maybe you will find something that will eliminate them quicker. Good luck darling. they sometimes turn white, and some of them never turn at all,...it is hard to give you a realistic time frame, I am sorry, at least from what I know.

They will fade slowly over years and become more visible when you tan. At some point you must have grow too fast for your skin to stretch.

It takes a while for them to fade. But in the meantime, if you want to hide them, a tan works great for that! A tan hides stretch marks and cellulite (I know you did not mention that but it does). To avoid the risk of skin cancer I recommend sunless tanning lotion. The best form of sunless tan is: air brush tanning. It gives beautiful color.

Rub some cocoa butter on them, I've heard that they're good for reducing stretch marks.

Depends on how deep they are. Try vitamin E oil. This will reduce the apperance of them Sometimes they will never go away unless you go get them removed.
