Okay sweetie I am nineteen and have asked out many men. First of all some will say yes and some will say no but either way it doesn't change you. You can approch the situation a few ways. You can be direct and just ask do you want to hang out sometime? Or you can invite him to a group thing like to the movies in a group to work up courage and feel him out. Personally makesure whatever you ask won't make you nervous or uncomfortable. If you think you won't know what to do alone at the movies with him be in a group, or if you feel your friends will pressure you don't go with them. You'll be fine!

if you're in seventh grade what makes you think you're ready to date? I don't think anyone should date until they're at least in Highschool.
