Sentimental gets you fartherthan anything. Think up a time or a situation in your relationship and give a gift based on that. The amount of money spent doesn't matter how you have been touched during the past year or your display of love mean so much more. Even a simple letter with your feelings is good.

A pretty necklace and bracelet would be perfect. That is what my husband got me for our first Christmas together. We were dating only 6 months at the time.

You don't always have to buy an elaborate gift. Get her something small and meaningful but couple it with a cool experience... such as taking her to medieval times (if you have one near by). Gifts are nice but a romantic memory goes a long way too.

found out what she likes the most (i.e. flowers, candy, jewelry) and get it for her. then take her out to a nice restuarant (if you can afford it) where she gets to dress up a lil bit. if she's not a girly girl. then take out to do what she loves most. whatever you do just make sure you know she'll LOVE it and have a blast doin it

buy or pick her some flowers and put them in a pretty vase. if you can't afford florist flowers, go to the grocery store and get some, and put them in an inexpensive vase that you can buy at wal-mart or target.
