About over 2 weeks ago I did something crazy like put a hair removal product "down there" and it did remove everything and it was quite sexy. Maybe it's a dumb question but would doing something like that make your periods not arrive on the day it is supposed to? or would it make me sterile and this is why my period is not happening. I have done 2 pregnancy tests and they say negative one about 3 days before my period and one on the day I was supposed to have my period. I have no symptoms that I am going to have my period and I don't have $50. to see my Doctor to get a blood test. I have no insurance. Can someone share with me their exp with hair removal products? I am trying to figure out what's wrong with me.....

No, hair removal product will not stop you from having your period. It might make you irritated down there... or get a rash, but it won't stop the blood from coming. Did you have unprotected sex about the time when you used this hair removal product?? Because if you are due for your period now, then two weeks ago when you used the hair removal product is about the time when you should have been ovulating (the time when you can get pregnant easiest). Just wait another week and see what happens.

I have never heard of a hair removal product making you sterile. If you don't have the money to get a blood test from your doc, go to your local health dept. and tell them your situation. They usually don't charge anything and they are accurate tests. Wait until your about a week or so late before doing it. I don't think this product would cause you to skip a period. Ask the nurse there. Good luck hun!

No, it wouldn't. Sometimes it can take up to at least a week after your period for those tests to give you a positive. Or it could just be that your period is late. I would keep taking tests about every three days, and make sure to take them in the morning (more accurate no matter what time of day it says you can do it on the test) until a couple weeks have passed or you get your period or you get a positive.

This would have nothing to do with you missing your period, being that the hair removal product was put in the pubic region, and not inside the vagina (I am presuming). If you believe that some solution did get into the vagina, I would suggest that you see a doctor, or at least get a professional opinion.

No the hair remover will not cause you to miss your period. Lots of women use it to remove their pubic hair - just don't put it inside your vagina. If you have not had intercourse, you are likely late due to stress. If you have had intercourse, wait a few more days and re-take the pregnancy test if you still haven't started.

I used Nair down there, it kinda burnt my skin but period were fine. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant and untill about 6 weeks I had no symptoms. There are free or extreamly cheap clinics to get done pregnancy tests, look these up in your area.

Not unless it was on a penis.

How old are you and how long have you been "active"?

If either of those numbers are low it could be normal. your body adjusting to things.

Give it a couple weeks then take a test.

Oh, wow. 39. No idea. Don't stop with the hair removal though.

Maybe stressing about it is doing it.

You could be pregnant, but nothing else could cause that but some guy pounding on your muff. Hey, You ever try a razor for clearing the woods down there? I hear they work real well! Do yourself a favor and keep them things out of your muff unless you want to get pregnant. Sounds like you can't afford a child much less raise one. Too many young girls have sex without thinking about getting pregnant. Good Luck!

No your hair removal stuff wouldn't do anything to affect your period. It's likely that you are just late...it happens sometimes, so calm down. If you don't think you are pregnant then you don't have anything to worry about.

no that will not keep you from having your period

go to your health dept they will give you a preg test

if the home ones did not show wait a week try again

but the hair remover had nothing to do with it
