What type of oil needs to be used for potions and ect?

Does it have to be olive oil or can it be scented oils, or even cooking oils????

DO NOT USE SCENTED OILS! Most are toxic!!! Also, most essential oils can be toxic as well. You need to consult someone who is an expert in oils. I think that herbal infusions and gem elixirs are much better suited to be use as potions then oils! Would you really want to drink an oil? Yuck.

You need a base oil, which can be olive oil or grape seed oil, or several different types of plain oils (I would not use already scented or cooking oils).

You can then infuse herbs into these base oils, or you can add essential oils (only a few drops--essential oils are potent!).

There are several good books on making various types of oils in the pagan section of many bookstores. There's also a lot of good "recipes" on the internet as well!

Check the encyclopedia, or search for books on potions. You should stay away from that. Your just asking for disaster. I know that satan makes it look good, but there is nothing good in shaking hands with evil.
