Like some of the other responders to your question I sincerely
hope Mr. Smith is indeed a Christian. But sadly it does not speak
well of Mr. Smith if so many responders have no clue. He is
and extremely famous actor, world wide.

OK where does it say you can't cus and be a Christian? Because I could give you a list of people who aren't Christian anymore if that is part of the rules. You would likely find your own name on that list. You can't use the LORD'S NAME IN VAIN, which would mean that you better repent when you say "God Damn" or "Jesus Christ" if you are one. Yeah God isn't his name BUT you are invoking it as if it was. To use crude language though is something almost everyone does at times and I don't recall EVER hearing that it went against God's laws. As to whether Will Smith is one or not I don't know. If he is saying he is then yeah he proably is. Don't go by what he said a few years ago though as he may have changed his religion.

Sorry but I am pretty sure he is not a Christian. I had a professor n my marriage and family class in college to use Will and Jada Smith as an example when she was discussing open marriage. If you are not familiar with it, this means that they allow one another to sleep with whom ever they want, as long as permission is granted by the spouse. The reason I added that is because adultery is against God. I am not trying to be judgmental, but the Bible states it.
I found this on the website listed below:
Will on Open Marriage: Although Will Smith has said he would never cheat on his wife without first asking permission, he has been quoted as saying, "In our marriage vows, we didn't say 'forsaking all others.' The vow that we made was that you will never hear that I did something after the fact...If it came down to it, then one spouse can say to the other, 'Look, I need to have sex with somebody. I'm not going to if you don't approve of it - but please approve of it.'"
Do not worry if someone mocks you. It is a completely valid question.

I think you have answered your own question. Rumors are not reliable, but if you have seen him say he beleives in God and is a christian then he probabley is. Were these TV shows talk shows where he was actually talking about his life or were they sitcoms? That would make a difference. The only way you know for sure is to ask him. Try sending him a fan letter.

The maturity of Christians varies quite a bit. So he may be a Christian even if his actions do not always reflect it. the same is true of me, but not being a celebrity, people don't take note.

What difference would it make to anything or anybody, if Will Smith was christian, muslim, atheist or satanist?
If you start seeing people in terms of their religion, the next thing it will be in terms of their culture then their colour and before you know it you will become a racist and one of those fundamentalists who cry 'War!' in the name of god!

I have never heard he is. There is a list of celebrities on the web who are Christians and he is not on it. I would love to find out he is!

The last I heard, due to Will Smith doing the movie Ali and meeting Mohammad Ali that he has converted to Islam. But with the Hollywood folks, I wouldn't doubt that he's changed to something else again.
