Let's see, Robertson OWNS a GOLDMINE in a BRUTAL DICTATOR'S COUNTRY WITH WHICH HE'S A GOOD FRIEND. hmm, NO, DON'T THINK HE SPEAKS FOR ME.

Falwall is so HATE FILLED he calls a Little purple toon like dude a queer . . . kinda pathetic and again, hate filled.

I don't know Jerry Fallwel's teachings well enough to intelligently answer your questions, nor Pat Robertson's. I remember what Falwell said after 9/11 and disagree with him wholeheartedly, as does most of Christendom.

Both of these men have done a tremendous deal of good in the world through their many ministries, through providing food, medical care, etc., throughout the world. It is sad that Christians are held to such an impossibly high standard by the non-Christian community.

Everyone on the planet, EVERYONE, has said dumb and done stupid at some point of their lives, even the most learned people on earth. But when Christians, like these two guys, says things that are based on their personal opinions, their opinions are branded as "Christian Theology," bringing great condemnation t the rest of Christiandom, they are scrutinized unbelieveably harshly and discounted as frauds.

I have neither seen nor experienced more harsh judgement levied against any other demographic in society as Christians receive on a regular basis. If I as a Christian have my stuff totally together, I am accused of being "holier than thou" and I think I'm better than everyone else. When I screw up, those same people are there to point their fingers at me and call me a hypocrite, as if somehow my Christianity removes my humanity.

Pat Robertson more than Jerry Falwell, I don't agree with everything that Robertson says, but he is pretty much on the money according to the bible. The political correct police hate him of course.

I respect them both, but only God's Word can clearly represent my views. Fallwel and Robertson stumble like anyone else. Because the media uses these widely-known Christians to share their point of view with the rest of the world, we must pray that God will use them for his honor and glory.

Why is it that if you say that you are a christian that everyone who is not into religion immediately assumes that you must be a follower of one or both of those men? I am an Episcopalian which is a very liberal religion though we follow most of the Catholic practices. We believe in choice in whatever area for everyone and believe me when I say that Falwell and Robertson have nothing positive to say about Episcopalians. And remember, if a person is to assume they only make an *** out of u and me.

I speak for myself.
Jerry and Pat can speak for whoever wants them to.
They are inaccurate as to my beliefs.
They are the religious men that are out there in our society.

I don't listen to them, I did at one time before I knew better.
I was very new then.
I escaped by asking for the truth everyday
I kept reading the New Testament.
I got the truth and ---peeka boo I see you.
Did I hear that old familiar ring?
Give me the money!!!!
This is Jesus Christ at a price.
I'll take it for free thank you.

By the way I don't listen to James Dobson either.
OLAY!

One more thing. Prince of power of the air.
We're on the air!

No, not at all. I think they are way too aggressive and don't preach love, at least Robertson. Every Christian is different, however. So no one human, mortal Christian could speak for all Christians. I used that language because Christ spoke for all Christians, obviously.

Using the name of God against your enemies is not the way of God. I believe in praying for others and speaking your mind out of love.

As far as representing my views.
Jerry Falwell--ya pretty much. He's a good man of God.

Pat Robertson--he means well, but I disagree with him on some of his doctrinal beliefs.

No. There are very few things I agree with them on, as I see their views as too fundamentalist and not having enough ecumenical unity.

The closest any religious leader came to speaking for me, was Pope John Paul II. I felt he really spoke about issues in a way I could relate to, and value.

Certainly not.
consider this from the Sermon on the Mount
When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
Anyone who would say that God allowed 911 as punishment for allowing gays, etc. cannot speak for anyone who is Christian.

They accurately represent my views sometimes, but they do not speak for me. I'm quite capable of speaking for myself.
