Where in the Bible do you read anything like that?
I wonder where you got a number like "1 million years"... From when to when???
Man hasn't even been around that long!

PS - I can't believe a scientist when they say "we did a test and found this human bone to be over 1 million years old!" They use carbon dating methods, which are only accurate a few thousand years back. Google it and find out for yourself the problems with carbon dating.

Time is not the same in God's World. It is always Now where He lives. It was man who started to chronologically register time. So the millions of years that you are referring to, is in relations to somebodies instruments, because no man has been here that long. It could have all started at the place that man started to keep track and God created it with a sense of having been here a long time in our way of thinking. I know a guy who put chicken bones in a fish tank and then hook up an electric current to the tank for a hour. He then took the bones to a museum to be dated and they appeared to be thousands of years old? I can make a clay pot that is exact ally like a pot that is old and if I use enough care to counterfeit the piece it could be difficult to tell. God is the greatest artist and He made all of this from thought. He then sent the thought through sound and set up a vibration for each element. He combined the elements to create things. So in reality it is all light viberating at different levels of intensity and it appears to us through our material bodies and senses as matter in the form of things. It all ain't very old, it just appears that way. If you think in the terms of eternity, forever, then time seems very irrelevant. And then relate to it all as a bunch of NOWS connected together then, How Old is It? A day could be as a thousand years to God.

Very Good question but you wont find the answer in Christianity - The answer is in Islam.

According to Islam there is only one Religion and Allah (God Almighty) send different Prophets at different times with the same Religion known as Islam.

The First Prophet was Adam and then Noah, Moses, John the baptist, Jonah, Jesus Christ and finally Prophet Muhammad who was the seal of the Prophets that means the last Prophets in the chain of Prophets.

In total 124000 Prophets where sent by God and they were sent to every nation and tribe with the same Message of Monotheism but other relgions got corrupted due to the interferecne of man but God Almighty Himself took the responsibility to preserve the Al-Qur'an which is the holy book of Muslims..

Religion suggests that God created the universe and wrote the Bible for humans. So for the other intelligent life in our universe which has been around far longer than humans, God must have produced thousands of other Bibles for them.

In answer to your question why did it take God 1 million years to introduce Christianity? Because he was busy writing Bibles for thousands of other intelligent life-forms for billions of years.

actually the species man is only about 250,000 years old. Christianity only came around about 2000 years ago. Some Christians would have you believe that man kind is about 6000 years old, which is absolute nonsense.

I disagree with your old earth belief, but if your question is still basically why did he mess around all those yrs with Judaism instead of just starting with Christianity.

Then, Christianity does not stand apart from Judaism. It is the completion of it. All those years of Jewish history are ours also.

For your information: there is no known artifact on this earth that has a verifiable age of over 5,500 years. Check with your local scientist. Scientist can repeat the same errors and get consistent results on radio-metric methods, but they are operating on assumptions. They can not prove any older dates.
