How should I know, I'm agnostic!

Well, I can't speak for all Christians but once you really know your purpose for living it gives your life more meaning. Also, the feeling you get when someone comes up to you and thanks you for turning their life around is indescribable. Do you know what it's like to serve food to the homeless in a mission? Build a church in a third world country? Bring a thanksgiving meal to a single mother and her children? Pray for a cancer-stricken person on their death-bed? See the tears of joy run down the face of a former meth-addict as she comes out of the baptism pool? You mock our faith as if we are the ones who harass, the ones who chide, the ones who fill the world with hate and despair. You need to take a good, long look in the mirror and ask yourself what you are doing to help make the world a better place. I don't think mocking a person's faith accomplishes that.

Why do doctors bother with life? Do they get a kick out of harassing sick people with their views on a better healthier life? With living at all? Why not just let them all die?
Why be a doctor unless you were interested in saving lives.

Same idea. Physical life or Eternal life.

Christians have the knowledge of Eternal Life and it would be just as wrong for them to NOT share it, and just allow people to die as it would be for a doctor and physical life.

The choice is still ultimately in the hands of the hearer. You can't force a person to quit smoking just because you know they could die of cancer, neither can you force a person to accept the ONLY way to Heaven, Jesus Christ, even though they will spend eternity in Hell.

BUT, you have to try....otherwise you are just as bad as the disease or the sin.

We are here to love and serve God. We are told in the Bible to go out and witness to the world. This should not be done in a harassing way, however. I am sorry you have been harassed by Christians!

as christians they believe the bible and try to follow God and His instruction in the Bible. In the Bible we are called to be witnesses.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

this basically means that we are supposed to go into the whole world and tell others that they can be saved from hell when they die and instead have eternal life with Jesus in Heaven. THAT is why we bother with life. That is what a missionary's goal in life is- to try to save others and bring them to Christ.

They bother because that's what they are supposed to do. Jesus told them to go witnessing to everyone about the good news. Why is it so bad that they care enough about you and everyone else's salvation. I'm glad that they came to me, I wouldn't be where I am today if they didn't. I would still be in and out of the hospital because life is so difficult to live without the good news. The good news is that this isn't it and this will be returned to God's original purpose. This wasn't His purpose. His purpose was for man to live in paradise. I can't wait.

The only reason why we Christians live life is because God, our Father put us here to do His will. No we don't get a kick out "harrassing" non-believers. We are only trying to help and warn you. But we are not trying to make you believe in God, it's your choice. All we are doing it what we are suppose to do.

We do it for your sake. Why question it. You will pay the consequences someday if you refuse. It's your soul we are concerned with, and as long as I have a breath in my body, I will continue to testify and witness, trying to bring people like you to Christ, and there is no power on earth going to make me stop.
