The first mentioned entitles the first 4 commandments, the second "Love your neighbor" applies to the last 6 of the ten commandments

I think you need look no further than the all the death and destruction caused by Jews and Christians in the last two months to understand that neither religion seems to understand those concepts.

I think both Judaism and Christianity embrace the wholehearted love of God and love for one's neighbors. The Mosaic laws as well as the teachings of Jesus Christ command those loves.
