Most religious people don't like the fact that technology and the internet are making it easier to prove that God does not exist, so they attack the messenger not the message.

Here’s more proof that God and Religion is just man-made nonsense.

Imagine you’ve just been launched into space, you look back and watch the Earth through a rush of clouds turn into a beautiful blue green and white coloured ball. Seems so peaceful, how could such an inspiring serene picture be home to so many violent selfish greedy human residents.

The hours pass and Earth turns into an ever reducing multi-coloured little marble, and all around is darkness pitted with twinkling white stars. You strain your eyes and watch Earth disappear into a barely visible flicker of light, and still all around is just darkness pitted with twinkling stars.

You fall asleep and when you awaken everything looks the same. Darkness scattered with distant stars. You’re lost, you have no idea where Earth is, up down, left right, Earth has gone for good. Everything is just darkness and stars in every direction you look.

Now ask yourself, do you really believe that violent life on some planet that you’ve no idea where it is, has the answer to everything around you.

In my opinion you are more than ok to have your own thoughts on the matter, but so many are just rude, like referring to those that have beliefs as having fairy tale imaginations. Just state your thoughts without the put downs and you'ld be far more welcome.
Also, you don't have the market cornered on brains; there are just those that have different heart and brain relationships than you. Stop with the arrogant jabs.

We don't need a ''fairytale imagination'' since we have the truths of the Bible.
I think the most frustrating thing is the closed-minded attitude that most atheists have. Seems (in my experience) that an 'atheist' is so afraid of admitting that there is a higher power that they choose to tell themselves that they do not believe in God. Most seem to think along the lines of the old saying 'ignore it and it will go away'. That is not true in any of my personal experiences. Just stop ignoring the existence of God and choose to accept Him. If you think you are happy now without Christ, you will be pleasantly surprised when you finally accept Him and realize that you had never experienced true happiness until life with Christ. Since He DOES exist....God Bless!!!

I/m a Christian and am very prouud be called a bible thumper, dont mind being called a hiporcrite,or whatever/ i'm a person that i think that God put here on earth for a period of time and afterwards to live with Him im pardise/// I don't have to make fun of Atheists to feel bettter about my convictions/i dont have to hate someones beliefs to justify myself// I'm just glad we are here learning all we can about His creations// because you see there are many people in Africa,Korea, Middle East,China,Eastern Europe, and yes here in the United States that are not experiencing a pleasant life and the God i serve instructs me to be kind ,helpful and to feed and clothe as many as i can and in doing so i have learned to really have compassion for these poor souls/// BUT WAIT!!! what if there is no God ??Well if there is not God what have i lost??? NADA but look how much better life is for myself and my fellowman// My belief in God is a no lose situtation , but what about your unbelief what are the rewards in that?? i pity your internal struggles FRIEND ///

oh, well, I like the fact that athiests and agnostics are on this site! It helps me with my apolagetics! I also like that there is a lot less CAtholic bashing here....at least not as much as I expected, but I'll back up any question with what facts my studys have given me! the only things that annoy me about this site are the christians who ask questions like " who wants to be saved right now??!!!" or people who repeat a question over and over like evry half hour or so, and I also dislike the preaching! why so much of it! it only pushes people away, and makes them laugh! I have absolutly no problem with athiests on here, I don't want to "save" them and I don't want to preach...I just want to answer the question, test my knowledge and let people know that there are catholics out there that do read the bible....because a lot don'treally know much about it!...happy trails!

No; I find it amusing that you expend so much energy ranting against something you claim does not exist.
Doesn't sound like a good use of brain power to me. Why don't you spend more time trying to create immortality since you think this world is all there is? At least look for a cure for cancer or do something productive.

I don't mind serious questions and discussion, and I respect atheists as making a different belief choice from me, but I do not see why some of them need ot be so insulting. Why not just ask about the issue, and leave value judgements out of it?

I like people who want to contribute, not those who wish to insult, regardless of their belief system or personal choices.

There's nothing wrong with asking people to use their brains. But being insulting, rude, & demeaning won't help the atheist cause at all. In fact, it gives a bad name to atheists who can 'conversate' without being so agressive.

Atheists tend to attempt to PROVE noisily that there is no god/s and I per fer the Humanist that doesn't always tell us we are less intelligent than the Atheist. I like 'the 4 agreements.'.. a Toltec wisdom book. There is no right/wrong...etc. We simply try our best to love humanity.

My answer to your question is a question. How do you prove
there is no God? In order to prove there is no God you'd need
to know everything about every single part of the universe. Of course that would make you omniscient. By definition to be
omniscient is to be God. So my question stands, how do you
prove there is no God? Please answer quickly, we believers are
eager to see the truth.

A from the Greeκ α meaning no
Theist from the Greek Θεός meaning God.
Atheist: no god.

I Corinthians 13;8a, Love never fails!!!!! God is love.
God never fails!!!!!

EDIT: Hey kewl2b4Him, please tell us what is wrong with preaching? Isn't this a free speech forum, and isn't this the
right category for it?
