Depends on the approach.
There was an experiment some guy did a few years ago, where he stood at a bus terminal and asked women getting off the bus if they would like to have sex with him. It took him more than 200 before somebody said yes.
A woman doing the same thing would probably get a yes on the first try.
Men are not picky. Success is not measured in percentages. If you try and fail 99 times out of 100, that means you succeeded once.
