And if you did; How did it smell, some churches use incense, some have flowers, some smell like old polish and ancient wood. What else can you tell me about the building. Is it one of those huge old one that echo when the sermon is preached, or one of those small ones where it seems like you are all in somebodys living room

Well went last night, this morning and getting ready to go tonight. It is a modest 120 seat sanctuary with pews and usually smells fresh and airy. Occasionally the air is heavy with presence.

We went to church today, in a small not - to - fancy church to worship. While there was no smell that I noticed, I believe as we offered up a sacrifice of praise, there was a beautiful aroma to the Lord.

John 12:3
Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
NIV
be blessed.

I didnt go to church today, but my church is kinda modern looking but still has high cielings, music sounds really good in there. The pews are padded with a mauve colored fabric, usually there's fresh flowers around. But since there is also about 1,300 people per service, it tends to smell like everyones cologne *cough*

I couldn't go to church today because my babies were sick. I was sad that I couldn't go. I go to a new building, not many plants in it, it smells like new building. It does echo in the chapel, but that is cut down a lot by the accustics they use. Speakers can be heard because of the micraphone system we have.

Why go to church on Sunday to worship the Creator God of the Bible? God set aside the Seventh day for a special day, not Sunday. Sunday is the first day of the week. Saturday is the seventh day of the week and is the Bible Sabbath given to Adam and Eve at creation to be kept for all eternity as a special day to worship God.
