NEVER from Best Buy! I might deal with Circuit City, in my area they tend to have good prices, better than Best Buy and courteous personnel, Something Best Buy lacks off.

We don't have PC Richards & Sons in my state, but i heard they are as bad as H.H. Gregg. Most of my HDTVs comes from a local store named Brandsmart U*S*A* http://www.brandsmartusa.com they are the lowest resellers in town.

Other times, when the price is even lower {with the shipping included} i get them from Internet retailers OneCall http://www.onecall.com and J&R http://www.jr.com

Ladies and Gentleman...first what everyone needs to understand about major electronics retailers is that they do not manufacture the TVs or other products for that matter. Yes...they offer extended warranties and the like but the reason they give people a hard time about things like returns and problems is because they offer those plans where they assume responsibilty from the consumer...if you deny the plan and you're after the return period CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER. Moreover customers tend not to actually READ the terms and conditions of warranties and return policies. Moveover stores like Best Buy and Circuit City deal with tens of thousands of customers who try to nickle and dime them and lie cheat and steal from them every day so it is impossible to tell who is honest and who is looking to cheat the business. They all match prices and if you're looking for a good deal ASK.

Consumer Reports magazine recently published a survey showing that their subscribers generally got the best prices and service from a local independent retailer. Best Buy and Circuit City were pretty far down the list.

I wouldn't buy batteries from best buy or circuit city. If anything goes wrong, they do nothing but give you hassles, no matter what the warranty says, or what they promise when you buy it. Then they just ship it to a 'repair center' and your without for months. An investment like that should go to a local specialty shop where the owner sells you the equipment. A few dollars more, but the service, if needed, is worth it.

Circuit City. They do not pull the old bait-and-switch sales practices that Best Buy does. They also do not lie about the extended warrenties. take a look at bestbuysux.org

Best Buy or Circut City. I think Best Buy gets too crowded in the store, and Circut City has lower prices, but either one
