i'm a young female wanting to know more about used car buying before i begin to go out to the places to look for a used car to buy. i was hoping to find some site that would explain to me in "simple" terms so i won't look like an idiot. just a site that will tell me what to look out, you know i what mean, carbuyingfordummies, simplecarbuying,something like that

Some good sites:

http://www.edmunds.com lists what a fair price is for most used cars and has a lot of negotiating tips.

http://autos.msn.com has a rather interesting resource there - they have a reliability ratings section based on a survey of mechanics.

Autotrader.ca is a good usedcar website if you live in canada !!! You can also pick one up at Shell Gas Stations around Canada !!!
