From the answers I'm finding that the solution to this life is to strive to get into the next ........Can there be any reverence for LOVE -(agape or brotherly) in this life?.......
What would convince the Muslim death squads to promote their ideas and work to improve our communities....... TOO MANY mothers are selling their bracelets in order to send their young men to die...(and for what?.......We need PEACE now...!!!) ......

The idea of 72 virgins is a lie told to the suicide bombers to motivate them... unfortunately, they are not intelligent people and believe anything... they just don't think for themselves.
The promise Allaah gives to those who follow Islam is inner peace and freedom from sin. Islam, when followed, is a complete system of life from the individual's spiritual, family, business, up to governmental, political and military systems of life which are in peaceful accord with God's will. In return, God grants spiritual wealth and eternal life in the hereafter in perpetual bliss living in garden of amazing beauty in a place where hatred, fighting, enmity, disease, suffering and death does not exist.

First of all even many people don’t accept it: Allah is an Arabic word which is in English God. And It’s not the issue about getting 100 virgins, it’s the fact that u live the entire existence in peace and enjoy anything u wish to. Here in this life we work very hard to get good retirement that may not last more than 10 years. So if we use the same logic wouldn’t be smart to work hard to live joyful life after death that last forever. and here is the people who don't have any reverence for life: http://www.halturnershow.com/IsraeliAtrocities.html
check this out and if u are less than 18 ur not allowed to access this web or ur health is not good u also not allowed to access it

There is no such things of 72 virgins in the Quran. They're is a saying of the prophet it's classification is ruled alien. Why are non-Muslims obsessed with this 72 virgins? I never heard it from Muslims I only see these dicussions in non-Muslim sources. I'm sure it's to block the truth of revealing what drives people to kill themselves.
To a non-Muslim blind to the truth that drives people to such acts, it's gotta be sex driven , eh? It can never be that you saw so much from your aggressor...daily humiluation and that feeling of helplessness that doesn't go away. Plus witnessing injustice carried out by armed soldiers against unarmed civilians, some killed before your eyes.
With the international community, UN, doing nothing. Any resistance is called terrorism, and any resister to these inhumane injustice is killed or thrown in jail indefinately and tortured. Some reach a stage where they hold soo much anger to what they have witnessed and lived that they want to kill the enemies people just like they kill their defenceless people mercilessly, with no one holding them accountable.
Nothing matters, not what's right or wrong, just get even with people who wronged you and your people for soo long. Perhaps then they will feel what their people felt. What it feels to lose a son, daughter, mother,...etc barbaricly and unjustly.
With all that said, commiting suicide is one of the major sins in Islam. It's punishment is hellfire. No justifications for it whatsoever. A martyr is one who dies in battle with his fate in the hands of God. Not his.

In a nutshell, it goes back so much further than the virgins and all of that. Let's go way back to the beginning...
The Islamics are just claiming the same promise made by "god" to Abraham that he would be the father of a great nation that would be more numerous than grains of sand. Jews/Christians claim that this promise was fulfilled through Abraham's younger son by his wife Sarah named Isaac later renamed Israel by "god." His decendents are, not surprisingly, the Israelites.
Abraham had an older son by his black sex slave Haggar. This was probably because Sarah was too busy whoring out to the Pharaoh at that time (Abraham had a profitable pimping business going on with his wife, who unfortunately had an STD and brought a plague upon her clients, the Egyptian court). Anyway, sometime before he attempted to murder his younger son Isaac on the alter, but after he made a blood sacrifice of genitally mutilating himself and all of his male slaves, Abraham sent his sex slave Haggar and eldest son Ishmael out into the desert without water to die. "God" saved Haggar and Ishmael providing them an oasis and made the promise that Ishmael would be blessed. Ishmael's decendents are the Arabs aka Muslims.
The Koran deals with the Muslim interpretation of the fulfilment of "god's" promise to Abraham just as the Old Testament deals with the Jewish version of the fulfillment. Oh trust me, the Jews and Christians have done plenty of destroying and murdering throughout the ages over these beliefs as well (re-read your Old Testament, and do a little research on the Crusades). Jews did a lot of murdering in the old testament, ordered by "god" to not even spare babies. In modern times Jews have killed a lot of Arabs because they believe that this 2800 year old promise means that they can return to the land we call Israel after 2000 years of not living there and just run all of the Arabs off the land, and kill any that resist.
Basically they can't all be right, because the Jews/Christians and Muslims are at odds over following the same "god" and claiming the same promises. Why should this destruction and war be worth less to the Muslims than the Jews/Christians? They are basing their actions on essentially the same beliefs. So who is right? How about NONE of them?!
p.s. If any religious people are offended by my unedited synopsis of Abraham, try reading your Bibles, it's all in there.

I think the number of virgins you are looking for is 72. And yes, all religions should have reverence for life. Unfortunately it does not always work out that way.

The Allah's promise is bondage to Mohammad. After all, when Mohammad spoke of The Allah, he was speaking of himself.
