I am guessing you are male. If not sorry for the assumption. I feel that the theory that girls mature faster then men is true. If you look at your situation from a different perspective you might feel better. Like if it was early 1800's-1900's you would marry someone younger than that. But for today to be 2006 it is frowned upon. So don't feel bad but be careful. Your not a pervert or anything like that I am a nineteen year old woman who use to be jail bate to all of the older guys because of my looks and mentality so I know how you feel.

No- my father was 7 yrs. older than my mom and there is a 5 yr. difference between you. When she's 20 you will be 25. However, I would let her grow up to legal age and if you still like her, then date her. Anything else is too risky because she is not old enough to have sex with consent(in other words, she's jail bait) and if you guys mess up and she ends up pregnant, her parents can throw you in jail even if she says she loves you and slept with you willingly. Then you would also end up having to register yourself as a sex offender everywhere you go to live. BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL because of that.

There is nothing wrong with this as long as you intend to do nothing until when law accepts it. If she likes you back then just keep the romance down to a minimum of dinner or what not and you should be fine. This is absolutely normal for you to like any girl not matter what age you are. It like they say age is but a number so don't be afraid of it.(as long as there not like 15 and under)

Yes there is something wrong. If you have lust for this girl that is wrong. She is a minor. Put that in your brain. Jail Bait. If she was my daughter and I found out I would KILL YOU. If you had sex with her and you got caught even with her consent, her parents could press charges, then we could all see you face on a The Sex Offenders Registry. Just some food for thought. Wait until she is 18 and see if you still feel that way. Meanwhile go find some one your own age.

There's nothing wrong with liking this person, just as long as you don't do anything. I wouldn't say the same thing if she were 14.
Age isn't anything but a number like some people like to say, otherwise there wouldn't be anything wrong with those pedophile priests.

you are either kinda desperate (no offense just being honest) you might be scared that you can't get someone your own age and have to try for a younger girl who might be immature. There is a reason for juvinile laws involving sex and minors.. it is there to protect young boys and girls from perverts that look at them in a sexual way. Don't do anything and stick to people your own age!

i was 16 and my husband was 21 when we got married.i say wait untill she is of age for sex because thats the law.but i dont think you are too old for her for a relationship if parents ok it.you are still young.please if you have a relationship with her dont keep it from her parents make sure they know.or in some states you could go to jail

i kno what u r going thro.. but this guy is 22... almost 23.. and i mean we really love each other alot but we r goin to wait until im 18... there is nothing wrong with u.. just follow ur heart. If his/her parents kno about u and they like u they shouldnt have any problem with u seeing their son/daughter. Really nothing is wrong with u.. age is just a number.
