Homo sapiens apparently did exist as well as other sub species of homo sapiens. The Genesis story pretty well parallels evolution theory. The time span does not, unless you consider that God’s “time” is not the same as we know it. His “days” should be considered as time periods (for lack of another description).
Thus God created this planet and its species, including homo sapiens, over 5 time periods. All “creatures” were created “AFTER ITS KIND” and able to “multiply” (procreate).
Then in the sixth time period Adam was created “AFTER OUR IMAGE”! Adam was created by himself. He was given “God’s spirit”. Gen. 2:7-9, 16&17. HE was created to live indefinitely within his special environment. That’s why it was fatal for him to eat from the “tree of knowledge of good and evil”. Gen. 2:17.
Eve was an afterthought so he would not be all by himself. Gen. 2:21,22
Meant to live indefinitely Adam and Eve did NOT NEED to procreate! They had no sense or ambition of sexuality. Gen. 2:25. They were not ashamed – innocent.
God gave them the power of choice, to obey his instructions or not.
After eating the forbidden fruit – also known as the “original sin” - they were sexually “activated” (Gen. 3:7-11 & 16) (they were ashamed!) and God had to change His plans for them. So Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden in order to KEEP THEM AWAY from the “tree of live” which could have sustained their life (and that of now possible offsprings) indefinitely - Gen. 3:22-24.
They were now condemned to live their life in the outside world and procreate like the “creatures” (Neanderthals & Co.) created before them. (Gen. 3:16) They now also were destined to die like them.
If all the future was fixed (and God would know all in advance) He would not have given us a choice. In that case we could not be blamed for anything. It’s all fixed.
Of course THAT wouldn’t make any sense. We have ethics and morals and laws, all of which indicate our free will to do good or evil.

I do not believe he knew because of all the beautiful things he said and did while creating, but I also believe he was totally prepared with plan B if something went wrong. He doesn't have to know all, because he can take care of all. Again just my belief so don't get on me.

No. I know God knew what would come, if Adam failed, he was warned about it. But I believe God was still depending on Adam to obey. Gods word is like
Tossing a rock in the river you know its going to sink. But Adam did not believe God at his word, so he assumed what the temptation told him you will not die, and because he lived on he may have thought the Tempter was right, but ultimately as sure as the Rock sank Adam did die, had he obeyed he would have never died.

If there is a god, of course he knew - it was his plan, his idea. There is probably a lot we don't know then again, maybe we do know. Maybe deep down inside we know all about who and what we are and where we are going but we get so caught up in our meaningless day to day activities that we lost the ability to "see" those reasons.

No, I think in order for God to give man free will, He had to choose to not see everything in advance. This doesn't mean He CANT know in advance, it means He choses not to know everything in advance. That is the only way we have free will and are responsible for our actions. Notice before the Flood, God was sorry He made man because of how wicked they'd become. He wouldnt be sorry if He knew before they became wicked that they were going to be.

Cain married his sister or niece. Adam and Eve had many little little ones. The Bible did not say that Cain got here upon a spouse in the land of Nod, it in basic terms says that he had a spouse. The land of Nod is translated the land of fugitiveness - because of fact Cain grew to become right into a fugitive. for this reason, he did not bypass to a place already named Nod, it grew to become into named Nod because of fact Cain went there.

Yes. That was God's full intention. How else would people know how to have sex or that they had sexual organs unless God gave them to us with the idea of what they were for in mind?

Yes, I know that God knew exactly what was going to happen. He just gave us a choice to do His will. He's God, He knows our thoughts even before we think them. But it's on us wiether we do it or not.

He invented time. Yea, He could see where it was going. We're too dumb to procreate to keep the species going, so he made it feel good. Otherwise we would have died out years ago.
