Try this recipe and you will be amazed how good and tender it is. A true winner, indeed.
Swiss Bliss
½ TB. butter
2 lb. chuck steak, 1” thick
1 pkg. onion soup mix
½ lb. mushrooms, sliced
pepper to taste
1 can stewed tomatoes, drained and chopped (retain liquid)
¼ tsp. salt
½ c. tomato juice (retained from tomatoes)
1 TB. A-1 steak sauce
1 TB. cornstarch
1 TB. fresh parsley, chopped
Spread center of 20” sheet of heavy-duty aluminium foil with butter. Cut steak into serving portions and arrange on foil; slightly overlapping portions. Sprinkle with onion soup mix, mushrooms, pepper, tomatoes and salt. Mix saved tomato juice, A-1 sauce and cornstarch. Pour over meat and vegetables. Bring foil up and over steak; double fold edges to seal tightly. Bake 350° for 2 hours. Roll back foil and sprinkle with parsley.

Sear it first in a skillet to get it nice and brown on one side. Then flip the steaks over and pop the skillet in a 375 oven until done to your liking.

grill 2 or 3 mins both sides wrap in tin foil in oven is good cook slow till it smells ready yum yum

you could pour tomato juice on it and add cut up potatoes. bake for an hour or so untill done. it is yummy!!!
