pls don't do that.

Many international syndicates make use of this scam in telling me that they won some money, and before they can send you the money in full, you have to cash one of their checks and then send them that money....

This in international practise is known as money laundering.

The money that they send you at the beginning may not be legal at all, and by passing through your bank, YOU would be liable to FULL prosecution by the authorities.

DON't ever try that.

and by the way, once you sent them the money cashed from their cheques, you can also forget the 275,000...

It sounds sort of shady, and I most probably wouldn't trust it. I say read it carefully, and read the back of the check, usually in the back where you sign it to deposit it, there would be something written in a case like this. In cashing the check it would enable something, and so make sure there are no strings attached, i.e you won't be subscribed to things you don't want that charges you. Especially knowing the fact that you didn't play an international lotto, I'd say that something seems a little fishy about this.

The only one getting any money out of that is the person you send money to. It's a scam. If you didn't enter a lottery, you can't win a lottery.

It is a scam and you'll end up losing the money via a claim back against the check. For more on international lottery scams see

If you cash the check it comes out of your bank account when the fake check bounces. Why would you need to sen them money for them to send you money? It's a scam.

Most likely it is a scam. Contact your local police and report it. Do not send them any bank information or any money.
