If they are not already, I'd suggest you blanche/parboil them to cook them most of the way (still firm, but not crunchy). Drain them, toss with 2 tablespoons olive oil, minced garlic (2 cloves), thyme leaf (TBP dry or 1/4C fresh, more is better than less), plus fresh cracked black pepper & kosher salt to taste.
Then throw them on the grill to brown and finish cooking. Brush them with a little of the oil to keep them from drying.
If you like, you can sprinkle some paprika and fresh parsley on the potatoes after you take them off the grill.
Source: chef. I love roasted red/new potatoes with olive oil, thyme, s&p. This works well in the oven too. Skip the blanching step. Just use raw pots, and cover the pan with foil. It's quick, easy and oh so tasty!

Toss the potatoes in a bag with a little oil, put on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with your favorite spices Montreal steak seasonings, herbs, or Lawery's salt, and roast in the oven until done at 375 degrees.
If you have the steak on the grill, put potatoes in foil lined loaf pan or a foil pouch along with cut up onions, dabs of butter, and spices and fold pouch so it doesn't leak. Place on grill with steak, I usually put fresh cut potatoes on at least 30 min. before the steak so all is done at same time. Different colored bell peppers are good cut up with the potatoes too. Enjoy!!

One strategy is to toss the red potatoes with a little olive oil or vegetable oil. Spread them on a pan and salt and pepper them. Put in the oven at 450 degrees for 20 minutes or so until they are golden brown.
To use other cooking methods does as I directed then put them on tin foil and place them on the grill (watch out for dripping oil) or you can cook them in a frying pan.

There are many ways to make those potatoes for your meat and potatoes dinner. Here's a tasty way. With your stove set on medium, heat up some olive oil in a pan. Saute some chopped garlic and sliced onions. Add some salt, pepper and continue to cook until translucent. If you want to add dry herbs, like thyme or rosemary, add them now. If you want to add fresh herbs, wait until the end. Add your potatoes and stir with garlic and onions. Add more oil if needed. Reduce heat one notch and cover pan. Every few minutes, stir potatoes. When potatoes are almost done, add some Dijon mustard and stir it into the potatoes. Now you can those fresh herbs if you want. Stir and cover until done. I hope you like it. Happy cooking!

Coat the potatoes with olive oil and salt and pepper and wrap in aluminum foil and put in the oven or the bbq until done. Check cooking instructions on the bag.

Cook the potatoes the same way as the steak, right with the steak. If you're BBQ'ing, use skewers.

cook the steak until its ALMOST the way you like it. (either on top of the stove or in the oven) then put your ready made potatoes with the steak and put them in a foil "pouch" then put them in the oven for ten minutes on like 375.

It's really easy to spice them up to taste perfect with steak. Just make sure they're thawed out (I'm taking for granted they're already cooked?), then put them on a baking pan, add a few chopped onions, salt if desired, pour some Italian dressing on them and broil them till they start turning brown. Yum.

Toss everything on the grill. You can put the potatoes in some tin foil, and season them if you need to, and leave them on for about 20 minutes.
