Yes. Clear intention and a sense of wonder are essential. Perspective helps as well...

Living a purpose-driven life is quite different from living on purpose. there are people who are rebellious who are doing things on purpose. They might be spiritually dead, but they are physically alive. Saul of tarsus was purposefully persecuting early Hebrews until God interceded.
I know I am living God's purpose-driven live because before I make major decisions, I fast and seek His specific instructions. When I pray for people stricken with AIDS, Cancer etc, as long as they meet the requirements of spiritual renewal through repentance, contrition as outlined by God, as long as they are sincere, God heals them. I know I have no power to heal anyone. Those that I do not get to pray for in person--those who call from California, from England, from Africa--since there is no distance unbridgeable with God, I know that I could not celebrate the manifestation of God's powerful gifts unless I were living God's purpose-driven life. Thank heaven I can keep growing in His wisdom.

To me, it means choosing how I will live, and affecting my life in positive ways.
Currently, I am planning some major changes in my life for the better, so that I will have more control over myself and how well my life goes. Of course, "living on purpose" does not mean there are no mistakes, so we'll see what happens.

I'm living for a variety of reasons. #1. My son, 2. To experience life, 3. To understand the world around me, 4. To make something of myself, 5. To indulge in what I feel is good
Face it, we don't live very long, some longer than others, some shorter. I'd rather do the things I like than be a follower of society and religion.

I am not living on purpose. God tells me I am living for a purpose. I haven't found out what purpose yet, but am still searching.

Of course I'm living on purpose. I did not accidentally avoid jumping off a cliff, getting hit by a car, or shooting myself in the head. I most certainly intend to steer clear of death.

I think that PURPOSE is a direction. If you have life PLANNED, you have PURPOSE. If you don't plan anything, you DON'T have purpose!!
Whatever you are PLANNING is your PUROSE for that DAY, or for your LIFE!!
What MESSED ME up, was learning in the EIGHTH GRADE that people become what they DO in their JOBS! So, if you have to be MEAN on your job, you will be MEAN at home!! So, I don't wanna be MEAN!! I want to live a forgiving LIFE!!

I don't think my life has a purpose.... it seems like I'm just "there"... If I had a so called purpose, I would have found it by now....

The main purpose in the life is to worship Allah(God),Allah says:(I have not created the jinn and the men except for this that they should worship Me.) Holy Quran.
and then to share people the construction of the earth which means to do works that help the humanity.
the other purposes differ from person to person, recording to me, my purpose is to build an Islamic center which concerns of teaching real Islam and Arabic language for non-Muslims and to help Muslims to return back to their real and pure religion.
but to make my dream comes true I need money,so I'm concentrate nowadays to make small business that I can get money from it,and may Allah helps me :)
if anyone of you don't know the purpose of life, please get in:

According to the book "Conversations with God", "There is only one purpose for all of life, and that is for you and all that lives to experience fullest glory".
Also, "God", in this book says: "My purpose in creating you, My spiritual offspring, was for Me to know myself as God. I have no way to know that save through you. Thus it can be said (and has been, many times) that My purpose for you is that you should know yourself as Me".
I hope this helps some in your research for your project.

I believe I am ..for what I have learned and am still learning in my spiritual path is that every day you are to learn lessons that are set before you by the creator and from those lessons you find out more about your purpose in life.
