Is it true that after a heavy night of partying and drinking, if you go home and drink one or two cups of coffee, the next day you will wake up normal without feeling dull at all?

nope. people think it will work because the caffeine will keep you awake and more alert.

No no no. The reason why people drink coffee if they are drunk is just for the caffeine. It makes you alert, and often when you're drunk you are feeling groggy. So this still keeps you drunk, you're just drunk and wide awake. The best way to avoid feeling like you have a hangover in the morning is to drink as much water as you possibly can before you go to bed, and then take two Tylenol. When you wake up, make sure you have some water or something like Gatorade right away and you should be feeling fine.

Excrementium tauri. The only way to truly prevent a hangover is to never drink any booze. However, since that is hugely impractical, the next best way is to drink LOTS OF WATER. The number one factor contributing to hangovers is dehydration. Drink a nice big glass of water between each potent potable, and even if you don't stay squeaky-clean sober you are less likely to feel as if the cat had kittened in your mouth. In addition, water may slow the absorption of alcohol so you don't get as pickled.

Drink lots and lots of water while drinking, before and after. alcohol dehydrates you which is why you feel awful. Drinking a full glass of water in between drinks will also keep you from drinking as much hence less of a hangover :)

no. nothing but time can cure or prevent a hangover, not even the water trick someone else suggested...the only way to ensure you won't have a hangover is not to get drunk in the first place....sorry!
