push their point of view on others here? and while asking/bashing other religious groups they put holes in their logic?
i just saw prime example: guy asks why atheists chill with christians. in the details, he implied that christians never messed up. he also bashed atheists and told them to leave.....funny but why do some christians act like that?
not condeming you just wondering.......
P.S. i am catholic and i try hard to avoid religious topics but just this once i won't

Some Christians think they are right and above all others, it's sad cause they make us believe all Christians are like them, but they are not. It's a shame all religions have members like this. And to tell you, I'm not a Christian, Catholic, Jew, or Muslim.

This section is "Religion & Spirituality" which means its to discuss religion and spirituality. Many Christians here think its silly for atheists to be here solely on the fact they believe in niether religion NOR spirituality. What many (not all) Atheists do is come here only to try and upset the Christians, I have yet to see an Atheist trash a Wiccan have you? And since this IS the Religion Spirituality section, would you have it that Christians just dont say a word? Should they not do what Jesus taught them to do which is -- spread the Gospel? Maybe you could take this thought into your Church and tell them "We really shouldnt be preaching here, the atheists and non christians will be offended"
I dont trash people though sometimes Im not the most polite but I wont ever be calling people here the things they call us. And I have no intentions to sit and watch people TRY to poke holes in Christianity and just say "ahhh well, thats what they believe "

To a lot of Christians, the only thing that matters in life is getting more people to join their cause.
That's how the religion survives so well. It gets people to forget about day to day matters in real life and concentrate instead on the myths woven into the Christian subculture. This makes it attractive to people who live harsh lives, and it keeps it really freaking annoying to those of us who are tired of being told we're inferior just because we're not Christian.

I don't know why that person implied that Christians never mess up; everybody does.
As for why some people "push their point of view," it's because somebody asked a question. Ask a question, get an answer.

If you are catholic, and you follow what the bible say, then why would you try to avoid religious topics. Didn't Jesus say to preach in all the nations, how can you do that by avoiding the topic???

they at the instant are not Jews because of the fact Jew's don't have faith the messiah has come yet. they don't have faith Jesus so believing in Jesus and asserting your Jewish for sure contradicts one yet another.... it quite is unhappy that there are those Evangelist Christians that decision themselves "Jews". supply up this custom now, your disgracing the two Judaism and Christianity.

some religions advocate preaching. Many feel that the word of God needs to be spread to have a change of religions. If its not their religion then its the work of some other being that isn't "holy".

there are definetly hypocritical christians out there... like they say one thing and do another. i am a christian, i try very hard not to be hypocritical, i keep my mind open to things. you just have to know that there will be christians like that but not all are that way. i don't like it when christians or any other religion bashes on another just to stick up for theirs. i mean its good to be strong in your beliefs but there are other ways to make a statement.

Hardly anyone is "pushing" but rather just voicing their opinion. Nothing wrong with that. One thing great about this country, no one can "push" you to believe what you don't want to believe.
