I've been seeing this guy for three months and he normaly wants to see me but gives off this "I don't really care, I don't want a realationship" vibe, but lately, espescially after drinking, hes been trying to get me to tell him I love him, and he spazed out when he thought his roomate was flirting with me while he was gone to the beachlast week, then last nite he asked me if I love him then I didn't respond and he told me he loves me a lil bit.. Is he testing out how I feel before he actually comes out and tellls me or just being a drunk idiot? I'm confused

I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but i think he doesn't really love u. If he do love u, why do i get the impression like he's afraid to tell that himself? "drunk idiot" definition might be quite proper to ur situation... Don't be too confused though. If he really feel the same way u do (if u do love him), he'll get around to it. :)

it can be a miss understanding
Lately when he's drinking:

If he was drunk each time he's asked you or told you he loves you. Then he is drunk.
The fact that when he isn't drunk he seems to not care is a hint. He might just be looking for some action. Give it some more time, hang out with him more, preferably when he isn't drunk, and see how it goes. If his non-caring attitude continues, that could be a sign.

Probably a lil' of both.
But your instincts are also correct, the alcohol is being used to access his feelings and he's testing your feelings.
When he raises the issues without alcohol being a catalyst, that'll be a better sign.

I think he's just being a drunk idiot right now. Just ignore him for a week or so, and see if he is playing with you or not. Patience is a strong virtue.

I think he's trying to tell you how he feels and to see if it's mutual .. i don't think it has anything to do with the drink
