The concept is so stupit. Why would God creat man, most with the deck stacked against them, and place him in hell for eternity if he did not perform adequately? If you went to heaven and your spouse, mother, father and siblings were in hell, would that truly be heaven for you? Just think about it, the whole idea is to manipulate you. Reject the idea, worry about something important.

It pains me to see people worring about something that does not exist.
The bible, research the history, it is not the word of God.
Seek God through meditation.

The concepts of heaven and hell have been used by some religions to manipulate people. By telling you the horrors of hell, they want you to conform to their interpretation of the teachings. Since most people don't question if it really exists,
or what it really means,
and they are scared by the horrifying details of what happens to
"you" when you "go" to hell, they start following blindly what the
so-called spiritual leaders tell them. The other way is to
tell you about heaven and how wonderful it is. And, by telling you
that - by the way, you can get to heaven only if you follow them.
That is why you have people like the terrorists who kill other people thinking they are going to heaven, because they have
been told that if you die in this manner (while killing other people)
you will go to heaven! Or you have certain people believing
that only if you "believe" in some particular prophet or savior
or god, only then you will go to heaven; all else will go to hell.
It does not make any sense at all. But it works, in the
sense that people are either afraid (of hell) or want to
go to heaven, and so they follow whatever they are told.
I remember some standup comedian talking about people in China about 20 years ago. Since at that time people in China were not free to practice any religion, according to the comedian,
approximately one billion Chinese were going to "hell". He said can you imagine how crowded hell would be!
Having said all that, heaven and hell are RIGHT HERE ON
EARTH. One need not wait to die to get to heaven or hell.
You can see so many people suffering. Their world is a hell.
On the other hand some people are living a wonderful life - they are beautiful, healthy, rich, intelligent and so on. One can
consider this heaven. However, even people living this kind of life may not be happy at some point - either because they want something more that they are not able to get, or because they have something that they are not able to get rid of, or because
they realize that at some point, they would have to leave ALL of this behind. So you can see that heaven and hell are right here.
Unless you figure out who is this "you" that is "going" to go to heaven or hell, it does not make any sense to know if there is
actually a PLACE called heaven or hell. Afterall, when the
body dies, it remains on this earth. Then what is it that is
supposed to go to heave or hell? If you say 'soul' or 'spirit'
then there are different views on it.
Also, consider this - what happens to this 'real' world
around you when you sleep? It appears again after you
come out of sleep. But even while your body is sleeping,
you continue to experience pain and pleasure through
your mind, which is not asleep. Some say that
the same thing happens after we die. The body lies here
but the mind continues to feel.
We feel pain or pleasure through our mind. Sometimes,
the same thing that gave us pleasure becomes painful
after some time. So wise men try to go beyond
pain and pleasure and try to seek only peace. Because
pain and pleasure are the two sides of the same coin,
and you cannot have one without the other. In other words,
you cannot get ONLY pleasure. You are bound to feel pain
after some time - either because the thing or situation
giving you pleasure will go away or change, or you will
change, or you will realize that you will pass away and won't
be able to enjoy that thing/situation for ever.

Well, i do consider that it makes no sense to mention "hell" in so much instances..AND ALL folks Americans don't do it. Its very generalizing. I am American and we don't seem to be ALL approximately John Wayne. That was once decades in the past and now not on this new release. We don't all trip horses and shoot bow and arrow. That is an historical stereo variety of Americans. Its variety of claiming all Brits have unhealthy tooth..NOT all Brits have unhealthy tooth.. I consider a small populace does..however now not ALL.

Yes, I believe in heaven and hell. God does not want anyone to have to go to hell. He gave us free will and so each person must decided for themselves which type of eternity they want. Yes, it makes me sad when I think about all the people who decided not to trust in God. What is more important than where you will spend eternity? Nothing in my opinion.

i don't believe in hell .. to be somewhere for eternity as punishment is so illogical to me
i do believe in different realms of spirit and yes a lower realm for those who haven't spiritually grown and still have some lessons
this is a place for the lowest of mankind and most people would of course be in a better place ...
but no realm is eternal and all can be progressed from with learning and spiritual development
just my opinion as a spiritualist xx

You answered your own question by giving your thoughts on the subject. God gave us the right to make our own decisions on things. I have chose to follow and obey him and do my best to teach the ones I love about him so that they may JOIN ME in Heaven. And if I am wrong, what have I hurt, I learned Love, passion, patients, kindness and all the other things God word teaches us....BUT IF YOUR WRONG........They don't serve breakfast in Hell !

Who gave you the right to preach to me? I would like to say something, but the Lord tells me not to judge. Go crawl back under your rock.
