well, does she have a babysitter? other kids she hangs out with? does she go to a daycare? most of those workers are high all the time. you need to start monitoring who she's around.

She is 4 so you should know all the people she is around, start taking a close look at them the sooner the better. Think of who she was with before talking about the drugs, it might be the same person every time. Try to make a game to get her to tell you who told her the secret. Tell each other all the secrets you know. I'm sure she would like to hear your secrets. Good luck hope you find out soon.

It is hard to say. Does she go to preschool? What neighbors does she play with? Do you have a live in boyfriend? Are there any older brothers and sisters?
I wish I knew what to tell you. She may be afraid to tell you where she heard about drugs because she is afraid of getting someone in trouble.
As her mother, sit down with her, talk to her, tell her about the dangers of marijuana and any drug at that.
There are movies that are made for children that she can watch and that can help her understand about drugs. I was learning about the dangers of them when I was 5 years old. She is NOT too young.
The younger they are when they learn, the better off they are. Keep on her about it, don't think that just because she is older you should stop teaching her. I learned all about the dangers from K-12th grade.

Does your child stay with other people away from you??? Mabe its someone close to you and your little girl saw them smoking or talking about it. Even if you really think this 'person' wouldnt do that.......you could be surprised. I know someone who smokes it and has kept it secret from his partner for 10 years. She has no idea. Mabe she has heard it at pre - school through another child. Or prehaps even TV. The fact she says its a secret suggests someones told her to keep quite about it. You need to find out the source. otherwise your child could be in contact with this person alot while they are smoking it. Not good for any child to have to breath in.

You need to talk with everyone that she hangs out with when you aren't around. Babysitters, friend's parents, whoever. It could have come from TV, though. I was blown away by some of the things I have seen on cartoons.

Make sure you tell her the truth about maijuana. And all of the wrongs in selling, using, or keeping it. Make sure you supervisor her and who she talks to. But give her time she will eventually tell you. Don't jump to the wrong conclusions, but place be safe and watch her. I know that you don't want your child to get caught up in the wrong thing. But place it extremely safe, especially since she is so young and pure minded and can be easily influenced.

Kids are exposed to drugs at an early age. Tell her about it and the dangers of it . Don't sugar coat anything. It's better she hears it from you than have her experimenting with it later.

Well talk to her, explain what it is and what is does, and what it can do. If she is old enough to ask she is only enough to be explained to. Don't worry where she got the question, could have been TV, a neighbor etc. just teach her right from wrong.

check into the people she spends time with the most, even if it is a neighbor kid next door, you never know what could be going on inside that house, or with a babysitter.
