how do you people get such strange lies and apostasy information about us wittnesses?
so far i've seen
we arn't christians
we hate coffee
we don't beleive in teh holy spirit
we think only our own will be ressurected.
we hate those not in our faith
we are a sect
and im sure theirs more.
why do you people make up our beleive things like this without actually reaserchign them for yourself? and i mean reaserch the RIGHT way. dont look at foolish websites taht slander our good name. instead ask about our beleifs to one ofu s
or find awnsers on the OFFICIAL site
http://www.watchtower.org.
i don't beleive lies about any relegion without asking them themselves, why should you treat us any diffrent?.

also about the whole 'cult thing'
any organisation that inhabits the world over as far expanded and as high as 6 and a half million people isn't a 'cult'
true the number might be small compared to somethign like catholicism. however, its far bigger than some underground satan worshiping cult is. and no relegion is as far spread as ours. we reach every part of the earth, somethign no 'cult' could manage.

those 'interviews' are clearly wrong. they took the person, not the words, you can tell the lips dont match, the whole video is proof you can't beleive such things.

ha. the more i watch that video the more wrogn it is. don't believe a single part of that. especially the part about jesus. they twisted it horribly wrong.
as well as any other 'facts' and 'beleifs' in it.
especially the interviews which are clearly re-worded and cut off.

my favorite part of that movie has to be the kids all sad while the others get to do the pledge of alegance. "aww man i so wanted to stand up and chant words!" talk about one sided hypocrisy and twistation. im only about 35 minutes into the video and the only hting i can say is true is the name 'jehovah's wittnesses'. thats how horribly corrupt this video is.

ah busted. i just saw it on the video 'for prayer' and they had a number. ha this video is nothing more than some relegion trying to give other relegions a bad name to get members. now i know its pure propoganda.

EVERYONE READ THIS. -Here's your defense next time someone thinks they know who and what you're about when they really have no idea. I can understand your concern there. I hear it off and on myself and wonder why the public has been so brain washed against JWs. A big part of the time, it is people who profess to be christians that are doing it. Remember friend, it was the organized christianity of that time that had Jesus slaughtered.
People always fear what they are unfamiliar with.
Most people nowadays judge others without ever reflecting on themselves first. We both know that can be dangerous. Especially since God clearly tells us that we best not do such things. - "Thou shalt not judge.. lest thou be judged.."
Ok, so JWs don't party on their birthday. - "..better is the day of one's death than the day of one's being born.."
Don't sleep with one eye open on Christmas Eve waiting for Santa Claus. (bible makes no mention whatsoever of this guy or his eight tiny reindeer). We don't put up a tree in our living room, decorate it and top it off with a symbol or figure we have clearly been commanded NOT to even fabricate or manufacture. - "Thou shalt not make for thyself any graven image of things... in the heavens or on the earth.."
OK, so JWs DO: Go out door to door and on the streets preaching the good news of the Kingdon of God. So do members of most other religious denominations as well they should be. - "...for if our gospel is hid, then it be hid from the lost.." - "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost."
We DO: "Separate yourselves from sin..." - "forsaking all others for my names sake.."
When true chrisians finally get it right, they KNOW (you're way beyond belief now) that God comes first. The glory is His. Nothing in this life in this world is important enough to make it worth losing your soul. Anyone who truly seeks the truth will be made certain of God's presence, sovereinty and glory. God will make himself known to whoever truly seeks Him out. - "..for those who hunger shall drink of the water of life freely.."
For the professed christians info, I took these scripture quotes from the King James Version of the Hoy Bible. Learn it, people! Before it's too late.
Also, in closing, remember that God commanded us to love one another. Jesus didn't hang out in a specific "goody two-shoes" group nor did he consider himself better than others. He sought out the sinners and the lost in order that they might be saved. We should follow his example with no reservations.

I don't really care about the points, but you should know that there are a lot of people out here who are trying, in whatever ways we can. I do little things like not running the water when I'm brushing my teeth. I recycle as much as my community permits. You'd be surprised at how difficult some communities make it to recycle! I compost kitchen waste to use for my garden, where I grow my plants with as little chemicals as possible. I drive a car that gets good mileage and my husband keeps it in efficient running condition. There are lots of us out here doing what we can without making a big deal of it. And I vote environmental!

While I do have to agree with a couple of sentences there, I feel morally obligated to say, quit your whining. There are thousands of religions that spread far and wide, and are equally misunderstood. If it's the other Christians you're so concerned about, consider this. Most Christians neither effectively practice their own faith, nor do they even know much about it.
Instead of griping, try educating.
PS
Here's some new vocabulary for you, "spell check".

the problem is that the JW's have followed all the other rats down the rat hole the profess that there Christians that follow Christ which is the first problem then followed Rome down her's .you believe that Jesus died on Friday and resurrected on Sunday ,Which Jesus said 72 hours same amount of time that Jonah was in the fish 3days and 3 nights. then you keep Sunday instead of G-D's perpetual covenant the sabbath only reason that G-D is going to tear this planet apart

I checked out the website in your link and it indicated many wacky beliefs not consistent with mainstream Christianity. For one thing it said that Jesus did not die on a cross. Wow! Talk about denying the Gospel accounts of the death of Jesus!

Amen. Unfortunately even atheists will judge others by their religion. It's a sorry fact of life that we can't just let people worship as they choose and respect them for it. Take a deep breath and keep spreading the word.

If you were serious about wanting to know the truth, you would not rely on Watchtower publications.
Even the New World Translation of the Bible contradicts many of the JW teachings.

I know that your belief system prohibits you reading anything that is not from The Watchtower or Aware, but if you really want answers read:
THE INCREDIBLE CREED OF THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES (available from Tan Publishers in Rockford, IL.)
