Cutting yourself causes your body to release endorphins
and if you do it enough, it can be addictive.
You really need to see a therapist - he or she can give
you the tools you need to avoid the behavior as well
as help with the depression causing you to self medicate.
Please, see an adult that you trust so that you can get
help. This behavior often leads to more drastic and
deadly behavior. Get help as soon as you can!

Here is the Web site for the American Self-Harm Information Clearinghouse: http://www.selfinjury.org/
Your problems are larger than any one person can handle here on Yahoo Answers.
If you don't trust or don't like your social worker, find a therapist that you do like.
If you feel like you are going to harm yourself again, you should go to the emergency room of the hospital.

She seems to have some deeper issues she is dealing with. There isn't too much you can do but just be there for her. If she takes your shoulder then great, but if she needs to keep it up you need to leave it to the professionals. Just try to be a bit more compassionate and tell her to tell you what is causing her to cut again and what is making her do it. Sorry but there isn't too much you can do...

He will help you in your situation. You have the attention and love you crave in Jesus. May God help you....I will pray for you sweetie.
