Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe such a thing because that is not what the Bible teaches.
Basic Bible teachings such as Colossians 1:15 and Revelation 3:14 show that Jesus Christ was created BY God. If he had a beginning, and was created as the scriptures teach, then he certainly can't BE God. At all times, Jesus deflected praise and worship to his Father and God. Jesus ALWAYS acknowledged his lesser position in relation to his Father. He openly stated that his teachings were not from him but from hif Father. He also openly said that "the Father is greater than I am." In the book of Matthew, in chapter 28, verse 18, Jesus talks about all authority in heaven and on earth being "given" to him. Think about that. If Jesus were God, wouldn't he already have this authority? How could it be given to him (which indicates that someone who already owned that authority) if he were God? It simply doesn't make sense, and when you read the rest of the Gospels with that thought in mind, you can see that they only support the fact that Jesus Christ is a separate being from Almighty God, and is in a lesser position than God.

Jehovah Witnesses believe that Jesus is a god rather than The God. They get this from passages where Jesus speaks about God the Father being greater than himself, and referring himself to submitting to God the Father. What they don't understand is that Jesus also refers to himself and the Father as one. This combined with some convenient mistranslations of greek such as John 1:1 where they add an indefinite article where it doesn't belong saying that in the beginning the word was 'a god'. Jehovah Witnesses also reject canonical Scripture interpretations that were laid down by the council of Nicea which met to eliminate the anti-biblical teachings that were circulating along with misunderstandings that led to polytheistic beliefs. Of the 350 people at Nicea, only 2 of them didn't agree with trinitarian doctrine.
Jehovah's Witnesses place a rather low level of trust on Old Testament Scripture, which states repeatedly God's oneness. James also reiterates the fact that there is only one God. While Jesus is God the Son, He is also part of the Godhead. You don't count an arm as your leg, but you do count it as part of your body. While the Son and Father are different parts of God, they are still part of the One God. JWs base their interpretation off of a translation of Scripture (NWT) which has never been varified by people out of their own faith, while Christians subject Biblical translation to scholars, not taking opinions into effect when translating it. They also follow the teachings of a man who frauded them claiming to know greek when it is well documented that he didn't. (C.T.Russell) Russell deceived his followers into believing that he knew how to read greek when he had never taken so much as a crash course in his life.

For the answers that are negative.
We might be able to deceive fellow humans, but we cannot fool Jehovah. (Heb. 4:13) Time and again the Scriptures exhort us to be honest with one another, for liars will have no place in an earth swept clean of unrighteousness. (Prov. 14:2; Rev. 21:8; 22:15) The reason for that should be clear. The promoter of all untruth is none other than Satan the Devil. John 8:44.
Making honesty our way of life brings numerous benefits. Among them are a clean conscience and the satisfaction of being trusted by others. But, the most important benefit, is that honesty wins us the friendship of Almighty God. Psalm 15:1,2.
No more for the desires of men, but for God’s will. For the time that has passed by is sufficient for US to have worked out the will of the nations when WE proceeded in deeds of loose conduct, lusts, excesses with wine, revelries, drinking matches, and illegal idolatries. Because WE do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of US. But these people will render an account to the one ready to judge those living and those dead

There are many answers to that question But I had an Jehovah Witnesses, tell me this when I asked the same question, That the son is not the father. But he is the son, who by the way prayes to his father. And if Jesus, was the father then who would Jesus. have to pray to. And the Bible is quite clear when it says that Jesus is part of the God head along with the Father and the Holy Spirit...... I do hope that this does answer your question..........

Because the Trinity is *NOT* a bible teaching.
Trinitarians love to regurgitate philosophy, Greek, , and quotes from other Babylon-loving Trinitarians. By contrast, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

The Bible itself doesn't expressly state that. The Trinity concept came along well after Jesus's death and is not universally accepted by all followers of Jesus and believers in the Bible.

because.
the bible states all over the place how jesus is the son of god, and how he is not equal or is god.
john 14:28 is a great example. the trinity doctrine is incorrect, prooven by the scriptures itself. and common sence, how could god kill himself and ressurect himself? even for almighty god thats an impossibility, also god is immortal, he can't die.
theirs alot more but im to lazy right now. if your really interested, feel free to I.M me, and we can disscuss it. i hope that awnsered your question.

Go to http://www.catholic.com/library/Stumpers_for_Jehovah_Witnesse.asp and read some of the errors of the JW's. Even if you don't like Catholicism, this is all taken from the official teaching of the JW's.
But they will never let anyone tell them differently because those who teach against what the WTS teaches are of the devil.

They just cant comprehend the concept, so like a lot of people they have to try and change the Bible to say what makes sense to them.
