i have long hair , like under my shoulder blade by alot , but i want to cut it up to my shoulder and every one is telling me not to . i think long hair is better , what about you?????

Depends..I had both. I had super short hair, almost like what Sienna Miller has now. Then I grew it out really long, down to my back. People said that I could pull off both, but as a girl I felt prettier with long hair. I think short hair is daring and confident, but long hair is soft and romantic. I prefer long hair, but whatever floats your boat!!
Just a warning, if you cut it short it took me a whole year to grow it long...so be prepared for lots of waiting if you want to grow it out again!! And if you want to keep it short you have to maintain it...growing it long is a pain though. It has a really ugly period because it's short hair growing out...so I always pulled it back. I would recommend to keep it long.

It really is personally up to you, however you want to do your hair. Personally, my hair used to be reallly long also, and i got bored with my hair and cut it up to my shoulders like you're explaining. After I did that, i was so mad. I missed my hair immediately. & wish I would of never cut it. Maybe instead of cutting it in length, you can add layers to it but keep your hair long. That would look cute. :]]

well i had long hair and didnt want short but i finally did it and it looks great. u can do a lot with it and it helps u keep cool doing the summer. i say short is better

its really a personal opinion some people like long hair and some like short. you also have to take into consideration what style will look good with your face

It really depends on your face shape and structure. I would recommend going to a salon and talking to them about what they think would look best. They have had years of experience but remember what you want is what is most important. In my source below has a link to a site that talks about what hair looks good and bad on what face shape.

Yes long hair is way better.You can style many more ways that short haired people cant, and when you are dancing it looks better when your hairs flowing.oh and it looks better if its winding and your hair is blowing in the wind.

It's OK to listen to other people's opinion and even consider them, but the bottom line is it's your hair and if you want to do a Mohawk it's your decision.

It's really up to you! When it's hotter out, short hair can be quite nice, and a welcome change. It's less to wash and it takes a shorter time to dry. Besides, hair grows back!
