You are thinking of things in physical, human, terms. Yes, things in our material world MUST have had a beginning....even the knowledge we have is acquired through time.
Where did the matter to create our universe come from? How did the first celled animals originate? We know those things had to have a beginning....something had to create/produce them.
God exists outside of our physical paradigm. He has always been, and will always be. That is difficult for our finite human logic to grasp, but so is quantum physics. Knowledge is not something for God to attain -- rather, it is a part of who He is.
God, the creator of elements and laws, exists outside of time & space...

You're assuming that God's knowledge is not inheritly a part of god. God is identified as the first cause, and therefore either his knowledge came from himself, or is a part of himself (the first cause) and didnt' come from anywhere.
In short, he's omnipotent and thus willed himself to become omniscient. He just "Has it" because he's omnipotent, so he can do anything. There's no logical reason why an omnipotent being couldn't "just know things." But that's really more of a question of whether an omnipotent being can exist. Oh well.

God is who He is, and there will be things about Him that we will never know. Especially those who do not have a relationship with Him or have accepted His son Jesus as their savior. Those people are not entitled to know the things that they ask. You must have faith in God and accept His son Jesus as your savior, and God will reveal things to you that He feels you are spritually mature enough to handle. What makes a person think they can handle the answer to your question if they can't handle the fact the God is the creator and is the Almighty God? If we had all the answers to all these questions, what would we need faith for?

God is and was and always been. We are but a tiny micro ounce of His wisdom. What we know of God if only what our human minds can grasp. It is like a person standing on the roof of a strange place. They can not know where they are until they are able to look it at from all angles. We are not able to look at God from all angles so we are not able to understand His inscrutable mind.

He always was and always is and always will be. Such a concept is beyond our human understanding because our human lives have a beginning and an end (birth and death). We assume the rules that apply to us must apply to Him as well, but they do not.
The most interesting thing about this, to me, is that we have no end if we choose Him. I think that's wonderful.

The inventor of something does not get his knowledge from somewhere.
He is the originator.
Would you ask Alexander Grahan Bell whwere he learned to make the telephone?
He explored, he analysed, he thought, he experimented.
He originated.

He has always has it. There is no one before him. That is why the bible says: "In the beginning was God" There is nothing before the beginning, because... that is the beginning.
