Wear those plastic hair bags that the black guys used to wear. You can probably get them at your local beauty supply place, ie Wal-Mart etc.

Dietary modifications, other than drinking alot of water, have no effect on the composition of your hair. Try giving yourself a hot oil treatment at least once a week. Also, there is a product called Cholestrol which also can be done once per month. Also use Neutrogena Shampoo once a month to rinse out built up residue that other shampoos/conditioners leave behind. Following these measures should give you the improvement you are looking for.

it is recommended that you change shampoo and conditioners every 3 months..one that that can really help to strengthen brittle hair..make it shiney and thicker too is called 'Ecrinol' its a shampoo taken from the oils of a horses mane..my mother uses it and it honestly works..now i dont know where you're from..but usually you can only find it in certain drug stores..you might also have to search for it online..but take my word for it..it works amazingly..if you want to know more about it..e-mail me at toniafoster88@hotmail.com

ps..no matter what they tell you..mayonaise does not work at all..it just moisturizes your hair..does nothing to help the fact that its brittle

You can buy Biotin shampoo &conditioner at whole foods, they are nice. Also you can try baking soda in the water, it makes my daughter's hair really soft!!!

Have your thyroid hormones checked. Brittle hair is one of the symptoms of hypothyroidism.
