You have to ask your vet. Maybe a reason why your dog is not feeling well is because he is overweight.

Alot of the medication that vets prescribe are the same ones that humans take. If it is a stomach problem, pepto is perfectly safe. The vet even recommended it once for our Rabbit a long time ago. But I would still take the dog to the vet to be on the safe side.

Not feeling well? Touch his nose. Is it hot or warm. If so give him half of a childrens tylenol. I haven't heard anything about giving pepto bismal before. If symtoms persist and he doesn't do any better you may concider taking him to the vet for a check up.

Well first of all, chihuahuas are not 16 lbs. The heaviest should be 6lbs. Any way, i would go to a vet and have him precribe some medicine for him because i think pepto bismol is only for humans

NEVER give your dog human medication! I'm not sure about Pepto Bismol, but many medications are actually lethal to dogs and cats. If your chihuahua is ill, PLEASE take him to the vet!
