We broke up for circumstantial reasons - he says he still loves me and that there is a chance we will get back together in the future. He has started seeing other people but I'm afraid if I do I'll lose my emotional connection to him and blow any chance of getting back together.

If i were you, Id try and see other people as well. If he sees that you're just waiting around for him to pick you back into his arms, he's gonna have his fun as long as he likes and might not even want to get back with you. I know it sounds mean, but girlfriend, you gotta have your fun too! I mean, if you love the guy, dont get too close to other guys if you feel that there is a 100% chance that you'll get back together. He looks like maybe he wants to have some more fun unattached before he gets serious about someone, and maybe you should too. Me and my fiance split up for several weeks and the best thing for me to do was try and put myself out there by dating, going out with my girlfriends and definitely spend more time with family. You'll be alright just dont let him play you for a fool so that he gets his cake and eats it too. Good luck!! (^.^)

just do the same thing, go and see other people. if the two of you are meant to be together there will be a chance for you.but dont be too obsessed with this idea of getting back together, move on, have fun, do something for yourself, hang out with new people etc.anyway good luck

Well if u find someone else and lose ur emotional connection is it really that bad. And if u don't lose ur emotional connection then it doesn't matter. I mean if u lose emotional connection then u won't like him, and scince u broke up that is a good thing isn't it?

Well if it is ment to be then I am sure it will happen in the future but for now I don't think that you should wait for him - you should not put your life on hold for him - especially if he has started to see other people -
