Every canned food has an expiration date. Maybe the expiration date of your can was printed on the label, even tho most cans have it stamped on one of the lids, either top or bottom.

I think it takes like 10 years... bottled water expires in like 8. But don't take my word for it... if the can looks like the newer ones it should be okay but if you havent seen one like it in years... throw it out.

Any can food is good for any length of time unless the lid is popped up (raised instead of flat)

nope canned tuna doesnt expire
the oil and vinegar in tuna keeps it moist and fresh
