I believe it is true that muslims must wash after any activity before they pray. They take their religion seriously. However, it is not practiced everywhere. My religion doesn't say anything specific about it, but we are taught to be clean.

No I don't think it is mandatory in other religions. It might be mandatory to cleanse oneself before praying in most religions, but I don't think it's at all linked to having sex.

You must be cleansed before you talk to God. That is why you must repent of your sins to Jesus before God will even look upon you, because God does not look upon a sinner or his sins. He does not like uncleanleness at all.
God wants us all to have clean hearts free from sin.

Some religions require bathing before religious services so that you go into them completely clean, which makes sense to me.
