I am about 100% sure it's not a brain tumor. You actually could have an inner ear infection and that would make you dizzy. You may need a different kind of antibiotic. I think a brain tumor would cause terrible headaches. See a doctor, your doctor will someone covering for her, you shouldn't need to wait a week. And take tylenol or Alleve. I hope it feels better soon.

Relax, brain tumors don't hurt honey. And you can't feel them because they are inside your skull, and the brain has no pain receptors.
It sounds like you do indeed have an infection, possibly spread from the inner ear to the mastoid bone, difficult to treat, and requires a longer course of stronger antibiotics. One course of antibiotic like Amoxicillin? Or even Bactrim, aren't always going to kill an infection like that. Can take up to a month on something like Keflex or Ciprofloxacin to kill such infections.
Take aspirin for pain and to reduce inflammation, and if necessary see another doctor, there are lots out there.

Have you just gotten over a sickness within the last couple weeks? I had Mononucliosis when the effects of the sickness I finally was taken to the doctor, come to find out I had to go to the hospital and see an infectious disease specialist, he did tests, he made the decision to tke me to the hospital and do a CT scan and then an MRI, come to find out I had a tumor the size of a small lemon on the back of my brain.
My symptoms included: Headaches, Diziness, Fatigue, Weakness, unable to stand or walk.
GET AN MRI and have a oncologist look at it...

It sounds like an ear infection to me. Many times ear infections take a second round of antibiotics to get completely over them. My son was on antibiotics for an ear infection in one ear, then while on antibiotics he developed an ear infection in the other ear. A second round of antibiotics fixed everything completely. I wouldn't worry too much over this, although I think I'd try to get in to see a doctor before another week goes by. Maybe try a partner of your doctor or urgent care.

well before you go over board with the tumor idea..sinuses..and chronic sinusitis has the same exact effect...also cavities believe it or not do the same thing, even the ones you can't see yet. dizziness can be caused by allergies..or allergic sinusitis..and low blood sugar..also anxiety if you are over worrying something...this is not to tell you, you are wrong about the tumor, but there are other things that can produce the same effect...brain tumor, you would be having problems speaking, thinking..word retrieval...and probably typing, also the headaches would be unbearable..your eye site would also be a bit messed up..

go to a doctor. that's your best bet in this instance.
hopefully its not a brain tumor. but even still - the sooner its diagnosed the better.
its difficult to say from the symptoms that you list that its a definite tumor of the brain. yes, you often experience headaches. but a lot of times the headaches are too painful to bare and it affects your everyday routine. and they last for a while.
tumors of any kind aren't anything to play with. after having known individuals with brain tumors trust me - you want to get a diagnosis asap.
personally i don't feel by your described symptoms that you have a brain tumor...but i'm not a doctor. so go get checked out

Stop worring over brain cancer .You have the classic symptoms of otitis media and you need to see another Dr. if your MD is unavailable . The ear may need to be drained and another antibiotic tried . ONLY if ear exam is normal would I suspect an infected tooth and that is a long shot !

It does sound like an ear infection, but it could always be something else. If you are truly concerned and don't want to wait a week, I suggest going to a local emergency room.
(I am the same way--I always expect the worst. I thought I had cancer in my eye when it started bleeding one night in February, so I took myself to an emergency room, as it was late, but it turned out to be a cut from small pieces of glass as I had been working with it earlier on. Silly me!)
