"The Silent Scream" is a powerful movie of a live abortion. Anyone who has seen it can see that the child suffers terribly. It is a terrible and very serious attack on the most vulnerable and most defenceless of our species, without anesthesia.

A civilized person can not even imagine doing to an animal what is done to these babies. It is just a matter of time before terrible calamities will strike all of us who are either doing these terrible wrongs or are looking the other way.

It is a duty on all good and moral human beings to bring this to the attention of the common person, who keeps thinking that abortion is nothing more than removing a lump of tissue.

Silent Scream is not allowed to be shown because of the impact it would have on an average person, regardless of where he or she stands in the abortion issue, except for the very callous and hard hearted of people.

We need to not only try our best to stop abortions, but everything that leads to abortions.. EVERYTHING!!

After a certian age they have developed nerves. It's all according to what is used for the abortion. Of the painful processes there's one that burns the baby chemically to death and another where they cut it up inside the womb. Would that hurt you? That's one reason why partial birth abortion was banned finally. People are so concerned about the animals but not humans only because they can't see it? Does that mean I can kill someone if I put a pillow over their heads? If I can't see them maybe it doesn't hurt.

Weeks 13-16

The brain is fully developed and the fetus can suck, swallow, and make irregular breathing sounds. Fetus can feel pain (New England Journal of Medicine). Fetal skin is almost transparent. Muscles tissue is lengthening and bones are becoming harder. Liver and organs produce appropriate fluids. Eyebrows and eyelashes appear and the fetus makes active movements including kicks and even somersaults.

What are the Zygotes and Fetuses of? Pigs or humans?

Why on earth did you feel the need to put ABORTED in capital letters. You dont have to shout, we're only a monitor away! I'm getting the feeling you're anti-abortion. Fair enough thats your POV, but I think its a necessity in modern society which is then my POV.

You know what, I'm not a scientist so I dont know how foetus' feel when they're sucked into a vacuum. I dont consider early gestation foetus' to be babies anyway but thats my belief. I dont know from when babies begin to think/feel, but I believe its around the 8th week of pregnancy that the brain begins to develop and recognise lights, sounds, etc.

The book The Secret Life of the Unborn Child says:
“We now know that the unborn child is an aware, reacting human being who from the sixth month on (and perhaps even earlier) leads an active emotional life.”
Dr. A. W. Liley, professor of fetal physiology, said:
“Biologically, at no stage can we subscribe to the view that the foetus is a mere appendage of the mother. We know that he moves with a delightful easy grace in his buoyant world, that foetal comfort determines foetal position. He is responsive to pain and touch and cold and sound and light. He gets hiccups and sucks his thumb. He wakes and sleeps. He gets bored with repetitive signals but can be taught to be alerted. Finally, he determines his birthday, for the onset of labour is a unilateral decision of the foetus. . . . This is also the foetus whose identity must be denied by advocates of abortion.”

Late term abortion which is still legal in this county kills a viable child with a fully developed nervous system. The head exposed in the birth channel is opened and the brain is vacuumed out so that the skull collapses and the dead body removed.. Say and do what you want but this is evil and as a county we have alot to answer for.. Jim

Yes, they most definitely do. Although they are in the womb, they are still human. When they inject acid into the umbilical cord, doctors have had proof of pain receptors being triggered. Same thing for when they cut into the baby's skull.

If you are considering abortion, or know of anyone who is. Tell them it is MURDER! Granted, you aren't killing an adult - but you are killing a baby... a child... ...a human life!

The question should read " Do the little babies feel anything when they are MURDERED?"
Yes, they do feel it and even if they didn't, they are still having their lives snuffed out. There are too many people wanting to adopt to kill a child because they don't want the responsibility of it.

No, most research shows that the fetus doesn't feel anything until the third trimester and very few abortions occur at that time.

Of course not, they don't have a nervous system yet. That doesn't happen until the 3rd trimester, which is too late to have an abortion.

I believe they do.....they are human and are forming and I believe they can feel pain...I mean when a child is in the womb they can react to outside stimulation ...anyone who has ever been pregnant can tell you that .....when I used to play rock music loud when I was pregnant my child would kick and moves so much but when I played classical music the child would become calm....
now when my son was born he favored classical music ..it always soothed him..
