This is a reasonable but important tech question. First you may need to zoom in more on the shot. If no results, try saving the video to the non-compressed raw format in the memory of the camera (NOT a memory card) then try sending to a video editing program for better results or enlarging the clip(s). I hope this helps everyone with this problem.

Unfortunately, your camera is getting quite old and its maximum video size is probably 320X240 at about 16 fps......You cannot make the video any larger.
Your best bet would be to buy a new camera. Most newer cameras have a video resolution of 640X480 at 30fps.
Sounds like a very good excuse to buy a newer and better camera. You can get some excellent cameras these days for a great price.
However, if you want great looking video then your best choice is a dedicated videocam.

LOL @ people who use the crap software that comes with cameras and computers, and can't figure out what to do.
Here's an idea, try magnifying it in your media player. Thats the best your gonna do. The only way to change the resolution is before you shoot in the camera, but it probably doesn't go very high, if the option is even there. If you want to shoot video, get a camcorder, don't complain about your digital camera. It's a camera, not a camcorder.

Hi, my name is Kathy A Harpster. I have a digital camera that takes videos also, and you have to have a snapfish program and setup to make your videos. I haven't tried it yet, but I Think the one program I have on my computer will let me make DVD's of my videos. Have you tried that? You might have to get a special program from your camera company, but I am sure it is available.
Let me know how you make out, my email address is kathysgifts1@verizon.net .

Like Michael mentioned, they do no longer look to be designed as video cameras, so lack constructive factors of a video device. electronic zoom has no longer something to do with optical zoom, this is in basic terms a "blow up" of the known electronic pixels. extra desirable zoom potential much less photograph defined potential much less decision, to that end the blurry photograph. i think of this is designed that thank you to motivate you to with the aid of a video digicam additionally.
