dude, NO, don't walk around with a bag of steaming poop in your hand like so many other dorks do!! GOD, when did that start anyway??? It's like, nobody ever used to pick up their dog's sh!t up until a couple years ago it seems. Frankly, I'm too lazy and too cool to pick it up. I mean, what harm is it gonna do really? It's just a natural fertilizer for their "precious" lawn!! And who lets their stupid baby crawl around on the outside of their lawn anyway?! And I always watch where I'm stepping so that I don't step on those landmines....others should do the same.

Yes, you do. The person who has to pick up your dog's leavings on his or her walkway or decontaminate their shoes is going to be wild. Cleaning up after your dog is basic decent citizenship.

Last year, someone moved into my neighborhood from elsewhere. There are a lot of pets in this area, and people who walk dogs normally show consideration. This new person let her dog run off leash (in a town with a strict leash law), allowed the dog to run into people's yards, and ignored the need to clean up after her dog, strolling blithely on after the animal left its mess.

After nearly ruining a pair of $90 shoes the day after I got them because of the last habit, I went on the warpath. I put up a big sign with a sack stuffed with plastic grocery bags and some advice to use them, dispose of them properly, and next time bring some when walking the dog.

She is just lucky to have pulled this stunt in the winter, rather than in summer when I might have been working in the yard with the garden hose and some nice cold water handy. Bottom line: dog deposits make people hostile. Clean up after your dog.

Yes. No else should have to pick up after your dog. You're a rotten pet parent if you don't and you should have your dog taken away. You obviously don't like it that much anyway if you don't want to take care of it.

Yes, if your dog goes in the yard of someone who doesn't have a dog and their child plays in it they have a mess to clean up that they didn't believe they would have to clean up. That isn't right or fair to those parents. If you don't want to clean up after your dog, get rid of the dog and get yourself a cat, the mess is contained to a litter box.

Doogie doo is doggie doo no matter how big or small the dog is. It still smells and attracts flies and does need to be picked up.

Yes, and in some states or counties it is illegal for you not to. How would YOU feel if someone elses dog pooped in your yard and the owner didn't pick it up?

Yes please do pick it up. It is a courtesy thing to do. Not pleasant (big or small) to have to clean off a toddlers (or any for that matter) shoe. Remember "What they bring in, You take out". LOL Thank you for the clean up job
