I have smoked ( just cigarettes) for almost 16 yrs now. I would love to stop but haven't really tried yet. What is the way that would be easiest? I really don't want to spend a whole lot of money though!

No easy way.... You have make an addiction for your body NOw that you have smarted up you will need to throw away the pack and walk away. drink lots of water to help get rid of the poison, volunter at a lung clinic, animal clinic or just keep really busy for a few weeks one day you will wake up and say "why did it take sooooo long to quit... I feel great!" & you will deserve a treat use all that money you saved to buy a nice gift for yourself... just not a pack of cigarettes!!

If you have got soreness to your chest whilst you smoke that's very handy in preserving you on monitor. You would possibly not have that soreness, however preserve considering the soreness you do endure, the coughing within the morning, or anything. In different phrases, whilst you believe approximately cigarettes believe approximately the poor. I did stop bloodless turkey, however that was once the one alternative again then. One trick I located very handy was once to make a addiction of now not shopping or sporting cigarettes, and if in some way I did get a few throwing them away. (this works with liquor too). Obviously, you must now not be bumming cigarettes both. Think approximately how low-cost and silly you're to do this. The factor approximately now not shopping cigarettes is that the shopping is no less than somewhat painful so that's a well position to interfere if you happen to begin again up once more. Likewise you probably have began once more and consider disgusted that's a well time to throw them within the range (I have a wooden range) after which if you happen to wish extra you might have got to purchase them. You simply hooked up a regular poor wind... Good good fortune! You'll be feeling plenty larger in only a few months.

I stopped by allowing myself a cigarette on the hour every hour. If I got busy (on phone etc) when the EXACT hour came and went I had to wait until the EXACT next hour arrived. I did this for about a week and found that I was missing (and surving) the missed hour so I went to 1 cigarette every 2 hours on the hour and if I missed one had to wait for another 2 hours.(making it 4 hours ibetween smokes. Eventually it was 8 hours in between and then no cigarettes at all. Worked for me. You could always start by half hour if full hour is too long,m but the effect will be the same if you MAKE yourself wait til the next designatrd time. Hope this works for you too.

Do it one second at a time.

If you think you can't make it 10 minutes, try one minute.
If you can't make one minute, try 10 seconds.
Each time you make yourself wait, make sure it is longer.

You can do this, one second at a time.
