Well, if the other guy has kept his part of the bargain and already pled guilty and took FULL BLAME as you said then I would say that you are in next to nothing in trouble. Provided as you said he has already done so.
But either way, since it is your first offence I expect you will get off easy.

How about taking responsibility for your own actions. If you are guilty, own up to it. Judging from the information you provided, and the way you worded it, I think you know you're guilty, as do the rest of us. For both charges at that! Show some character and take responsibility. Not to sound like a smarta--, but obviously you need to kick the habit and concentrate on getting an education.

OK, you were the driver, that is just like open intoxicants. If it is available to you, you are in control of it. NOW, reality check, what's up with the spelling? Why would you have a pipe if you didn't intend to use it? Get an attorney and get a life. You need to stop the minimization and take a look at the real problem. Good luck in your rehab.

I used to work for a Criminal Defense Attorney - but it was in Texas not Iowa. Based on what I know of that (and it might not be relevant to you) you'll probably get a year or so of probation. If it's your first offense - you might be able to plead deferred adjudication, which means it will come off of your record if you successfully meet the terms of your probation.
I'm not an attorney - and know nothing of Iowa law - you should contact an attorney.

What Zar said. I suggest you talk to a lawyer or ask for a public defender before pleading guilty at arraignment. From your description of events, it is possible the pipe charge may get tossed entirely.

Depends on the state you live in. in most states you will probably just get a fine and maybe probation. others your looking at a 90 day stay at county jail. best thing to do... keep it at home. or better yet. just say no. I smoked pot in high school and thought I was cool. It did nothing to help me succeed in achieving my goals in life. but your life is yours. just think things through

If the courts get hold of your question you might also be charged with illiteracy. Please buy a dictionary instead of spending your dough on drugs.
