People wonder why the novel is the most popular form of literature; people wonder why it is read more than books of science or books of metaphysics. The reason is very simple; it is merely that the novel is more true than they are. Life may sometimes legitimately appear as a book of science. Why dont' you non believers just shut up and leave God alone. No one is forcing you to accept Him. But He will have the last word about you, and you will wish you did not blaspheme Him.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation

Stories and myths are how we understand the divine.

Without allegory the divine is so complex that we limited humans cannot possibly grasp it.

There is a time when we have to stop fighting to understand and just begin dreaming.
