Its not really bad but it doesnt make sense to me because...
I get it pressed(hot combed no relaxer)by a Pro
i get the ends cliped ever now and then
I get a deep conditioner
I wrap it in silk every night
I put hair oil on the ends
and i make sure that my hair isnt rubbing against something that makes it split
so i do all these things and its like continuing and doesnt make it stop....can any one help me on what i can do...or why this is happening?is it because of the hot weather here in Houston....and im black so that u can get the idea of my hair

Go easy on the heat even if it is done by a Pro! Too much heat (pressing the hair, blow drying, curling, straighting) can damage the hair, make it weak and cause split ends! And get it trimmed every three weeks or so!

It could also due to lack of vitamins! Make sure you're eating a healthy diet! Talk to a doctor/nutritionist about what kinds of food make your hair healthier and stronger!

Good luck!

Hot weather and getting your hair pressed can both cause problems in the ends because of the heat, and it's recommendable to get your hair clipped every 4-6 weeks even if you are getting your hair pressed. I'm from Texas too, Dallas to be exact and u know how this hot weather goes. What i would recommend is this grease called Profective, and they have a product for split ends and i haven't been using it for awhile cause i get my ends trimmed every 4 weeks, but when i wouldn't go to a hair salon, i would definitely use this product for the split ends. :) Hope that helps.

It really seems like you are doing the right things your pro's comb may be too hot if its old it can do that. I would try k-pak shine serum on the ends every day and a wide tooth comb for grooming NO BRUSHES they will split your hair every time.
Good luck

Use a table spoon of olive oil, apply it on the ends and leave it for 15 to 30 MN (as long as you want)

Tried and effective!

to keep it from spliting,i don't know what every now and then means, but maybe every 1-2 months you should get it trimed.
