I am a Christian. I am a sinner saved only throgh the grace of God. I am flawed and I pray for wisdom and mercy daily. I know the differnce between right and wrong and I do my best to be pleasing to God. Why do people expect Christians to be perfect all of the time when there is no one perfect but God? And why are we are accused of being judgmental because we speak the gospel in love not hate? I believe we all are sinners but those of us who are more spiritual should correct each other in love.

I agree with you 100 percent. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory. We need to pray and do the best we can to show love to one another, to please God and refrain from judging one another. Thank you for your comments.

Christians are not spiritual, being spiritual means having free thought about the universe that you live in, Christians have adopted a thought that was given to them from someone else. You are not perfect, in fact you are more flawed than a normal person because you don't know that you have a problem. That is why you asked this question, because your faith is bringing you pain. Just like an alcoholic you must first admit that you have a problem before you can correct it.

Unbelievers just want to hold the banner over Christians' head that we can't commit certain sins because it is displeasing to God, but they feel that they can because they don't believe. I think it is a way to make us feel bad that we are saved and refuse to partake of wrong doings. They do it because they enjoy sinning and being sinners. I have found that unbelievers feel that Christians can't have fun but they fail to realize that we can, there is just a way to do everything. It is all in the enemy's attempt to make us think that sin is cool and regret being saved; but it won't work. No matter how much we tell them that we are human, they expect more but me sinning and an unbeliever sinning is the same consequence, we all pay with death, the only difference is that I ask for forgiveness and refrain from that sin, and enjoy eternity in heaven. They always say that and as long as you speak the gospel, you will always come up against scrutiny, but don't worry about it... Great is your reward for your perseverance.

Unfortunetly so is religion!, the bible aint neccessarily all black and white ya know. It too is open to interpretation and conjecture on a massive scale!!. Just be true to yourself and others, and things will work out OK. I too believed in God as you do, but found the teachings of the bible confusing and misleading. Sure snippets are bang on! and make perfect sense, and I still trust in some of them to a great extent..... but not all. You must think for yourself and dont be to ridgid in its beliefs. After all that in essense was what Jesus was trying to tell us all. He who is without sin cast the first stone!. Dont worry about bieng flawed, it,s what you do and how others percieve you that really matters!.

Perhaps you are experiencing a reaction to the response that holier-than-thou righteousness causes and misinterpreting it as an expectation of perfection. Everyone is flawed. That is the point.

We tell them and tell them but they want to point out that because we don't always measure up to the perfection that is Christ that He must not be real.. I wished I could live the life Jesus intends for me but I fail Him all the time. Still He loves me and dies for me at Calvary. I am just as assured of my place in His Kingdom as if I was already there.

Most of them are flawed. But not me. I'm perfect because I am a Christian! God made me in his image and I am a handsome older man! Jesus forgave me of my sins.

We're a bunch of pompous, egotistical bastards, so what more, without the aid of Jesus our Christ, could one expect. You're sounding well grounded. Keep up the good work. Temptations will always be around. God Bless you.

You are absolutely right. But Jesus promised us we would be persecuted. When you get to Heaven, God is not going to ask you how others treated you ... only how you treated them. Pray for those who spitefully use you, darling, and know that you are not alone.

BECAUSE if you ACTUALLY SAW GOD and knew he`d punish you .
You would live in fear .You only have FAITH that he exists,That is all.
Yes we are all flawed because religion teaches us that
It also teaches us that we should pray for those who don`t BELIEVE as we do ,because they are more flawed than the believers...
This is all bullsh*t
