They ask things most people (men too) already know. Are these homeless teens having their baby delivered by another homeless person in an alley? I see their is some great parenting going on in the world.

I got pregnant at 17. I always didn't go on the Internet asking strangers for advice. That's the reason I had a doctor that was paid for with insurance (not medicaid). I'll be 21 in a few months and I am SO glad I wasn't an idiot like most teen parents are. Here's some suggestions for these idiots:
1- We are NOT doctors; we don't know if you are pregnant, had a miscarriage, or need to go to the hospital

2-We are NOT your parents. We don't know how your parents will react when you tell them you are pregnant.

3-If you can't afford a pregnancy test, you should NOT be having sex.

4-Doctors are in their profession for a reason, go to them with medical questions.

Sadly, I think this is a comment on our schools and our society. I know that Ireland has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in the Western world.
The problem is this... as adults, it is our responsibility to protect our kids and raise them right. Just because they are teenagers and are no longer interested in watching Disney movies doesn't mean that its OK to just let them go. It's the adults' responsibility to provide safe and fun activities for these teens to do.
I mean there isn't a drug page on here Yahoo answers, but I'll bet that if there were it too would be full of bored teenagers wondering if they've overdosed or mixed bad combos.

Well, not to get political, but when No Child Left Behind was passed, it mandated abstinence only until marriage sex ed. To receive federal funding schools could only teach that they had to remain abstinent until they were married and birth control could only be mentioned if it how much it fails. The kids weren't abstinent and didn't know how to protect themselves. Waiting until marriage is great, but most people don't, and the country is failing those who opt to make a different choice.

A lot of things can be answered by women who have been pregnant before. There is no need to call an ob when it is something simple. I was always calling my mother when I was pregnant with my first. It didn't make me stupid, it made me a first time mother. A lot of really wierd things happen when you are pregnant and it is comforting to talk to someone who has been there before. Maybe they just want the conversation.
