Continually shaking your head violently could eventually cause brain injuries. It is just like being in a car and hitting something, however fast your car is traveling when you impact your organs are also traveling at that speed when they impact against your body.

I have no medical knowledge but if a baby can suffer shaken baby syndrome that swells the brain from the brain being hit against the child's skull I would assume it would be possible in an adult with a great force. I don't know - maybe baby's have more room in their heads, with some of the adults I know that isn't a viable argument though. lol

You wont get a concussion just by shaking yourhead. If hit it on something while shaking your haed you might but it's not likely. You might get dizzy but thats all. Nothing serious. Beleive me I've had 4 concussions before.

No, you cannot concuss your head without striking it. It takes considerable force to damage what's inside a very tough skull. You can mess with your equilibrium and become dizzy because shaking like that messess with your inner ear which is very sensitive to that sort of thing, but concussion? no.

Possible??.. think, a boxer is knocked out because his head is quickly twisted to one side (maybe several times during the fight) and the head turns quicker than the brain.. don't know if you could do that by shaking your own head, but it is something to think about.

I don't know about brain concussion, but I do know it could cause strong pain on your neck! So, try doing it less abruptly and take care of yourself.
